现在，全球都在宣传倡导低碳生活，随着知识的增多，我渐渐懂了，知道低碳是为了保护地球，为了保护我们的家园，于是，我也开始了低碳生活。
一天早上，我起床发现：客厅的灯竟然一夜未关，连忙伸手把灯关了。心想：爸爸妈妈真粗心啊!睡觉前竟忘了关灯，真不好。又浪费了很多电，真可惜。我得马上去劝爸爸妈妈，让他们做一个像我一样低碳的人。
爸爸妈妈刚起来，我大声地指着灯炮对他们说：“爸爸妈妈，你们一定要做一个低碳的人啊！昨天你们睡前忘了关灯，白白浪费了电。产生了很多二氧化碳等，过多的二氧化碳会使地球本厚的臭氧层变薄了，太阳强烈的紫外线照在身上，会产生许多疾病。”“这么小就懂得低碳，我们大人也不能落后啊！”爸爸妈妈异口同声的说。
第二天，我看见妈妈开电脑只开了两小时就关了，她走了过来，对我说：“电脑不要长时间开着，每开2小是时就要休息一段时间，这样有利于低碳环保。”我点了点头，心想：“我自称为低碳市民，却不知道大部分关于低碳的知识，真得好好学习一番。
这时，爸爸走了过来，说：“现在你知道了吧！这几年，我们一直不买空调，只吹电风扇，是为了当低碳执行者，为了地球将来的环境。”我听后，心想：低碳生活，从我做起！

以前的我，非常浪费。
