无法去参加演讲英语作文【一】
7月22日，我们一家三口来到南京实碌口机场。随着工作人员的引导，我们准备登机了。第一次近距离看飞机，它无比宠大，像一只准备起飞的巨鸟趴在那里。进入机舱门，仪态万千的空姐笑盈盈地对我们说：“中午好！”进了机舱，我发现飞机内部很大、很宽广。一排排舒适一座椅一眼望不到头，热情的空少帮乘客安放行李。我迫不及待地坐上座位，系上安全带。飞机进入跑道了，它在渐渐提升速度。“轰——”地一声，飞机腾空而起，一种压力随即而来。机舱渐渐地由倾斜转为平稳状态。外面阳光刺眼，我戴上墨镜，好奇又兴奋地打量着窗外的\'景色。湛蓝的天空衬着大朵大朵洁白的云朵。云朵洁白无瑕，再加上飞机时不时从云雾中穿梭，让人感到仿佛来到了仙境。云弟弟可真调皮，它一会儿变成一头大象，昂首东望，一会儿又变成一大堆糖果，引得人垂涎三尺，真是千变万化。
到了北京，我们先去比赛场地报到，等待志愿者的安排。7月24日，我在爸爸妈妈的陪同下，来到了比赛场地。在候场区里，各位选手正在擦拳磨掌，跃跃欲试，真是强手如林。他们的服装真是瑰丽无比、精美别致。这时，我看见一个老爷爷坐地轮椅上，正在聚精会神地练习曲子。我想：这样行动不方便的老人都来参赛，我还有什么理由不好好练习曲子呢？
终于轮到我上场了，我神态自若做了自我介绍之后，便吹了起来。比赛结束，我去看颁奖音乐会，现场灯光五光十色，大师级别的作曲家们身着耀眼的演出服在舞台上表演。最后，全场吹奏《月光下的凤尾竹》圆满地结束了这场音乐会。
通过这次比赛，我见到了我从未见过的最盛大的晚会，要到了各个名家的签名，最让我感到高兴地是我获得了银奖。“台上一分钟，台下十年功。”只要我认真练习，以后就还有机会参加这种大型的比赛。

I walked down my street with my dad. The sun shone on Mrs. Stokes, watering her potted plants. 我和爸爸沿着我们的街道走，太阳照到了斯托克斯太太身上，她正给她的盆栽植物浇水。

I walked on with my dad. The sun shone on a man and his brown dog. The dog wagged its tail. 我跟爸爸继续走着。太阳照在一位男人和他的棕色狗身上。狗摇着尾巴。
“Can I take Arthur for a walk for you, Mr. Rose?” I asked. “罗丝先生，我帮您把亚瑟带出去遛一遛，行吗？”我问。
“Thank you,” he said. “I’ll have a rest.” “谢谢你，”他说，“我打算休息一会儿。
” I walked on with my dad. The sun shone on the buds bursting on the trees. I was happy. 我跟爸爸继续走着。太阳照在树上蓦然生出的嫩芽上，我很喜欢。
Mrs. Stoke’s plants were watered. Hope and her mom were singing for the people who went by. Mr. Rose was resting. 斯托克斯太太的植物已经把水浇过了。浩波和她妈妈在为从那儿经过的人们唱歌。罗丝先生正在那儿休息。
I was going to the city park to play with dad and Arthur. I love where I live. 我跟爸爸正要到城市公园去和亚瑟玩。我爱我居住的地方。

我的心情一下子紧张起来，心想：我肯定写不起来！爸爸说；没关系，重在参与嘛。可我的心情迟迟还是不能平静。
到了晚上，我就是睡不着，想；我会落后吗？比得上吗？会写的长吗？我感受到了可怕。
爸爸看我这样子说；你去电脑上查查作文资料，有什么好的\'作文，看看，或许对明天的作文比赛有帮助。我马上从床上爬了起来，开始查找，这个好，这个精彩，这个好看。我看也看不完，电脑里实在有太多的好作文了。
第二天，我和爸爸来到比赛的现场，那里人山人海，真的是很多人去参加比赛，我们班的同学也有去参加的，他们和我都是在同一个考场。开始发卷了，我写得很长，大概是昨天看了作文的原因吧！
不知道会不会被选中，如果没有被选中也没有关系，因为我参与了整个比赛过程，我的心情还是很快乐的。

A man walking in the night slipped from a rock. Afraid that he would fall down thousands of feet, because he knew that place was a very deep valley, he took hold of a branch that was hanging over the rock. In the night all he couls see was a bottomless abyss. He shouted, his own shout reflected back--there was nobody to hear.
You can imagine that man and his whole night of scare. Every moment there was death, his hands were becoming cold, he was losing his gripand as the sun came out he looked down and he laughed. There was no abyss. Just six inches down there was a rock. He could have rested the whole night, slept well---the rock was big enough---but the whole night was a nightmare.
Fear is only six inches deep. Now it is up to you whether you want to go on cling to the branch and turn your life into a nightmare, or whether you would love to leave the branch and stand on your feet.
There is nothing to fear.

Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free.
exclaimed： “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any.
repayment of your favour； but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”
