Dear leaders and fellow students,
Everybody is good!
It is my great honor to stand here and participate in the election of the monitor. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you for your support. First of all, I would like to introduce myself to you: my name is tao league. As a freshman at the university, I am one of the leaders of the department of health.
As a child, my father once said to me: do things with your feet on the ground and do them one step at a time. Therefore, I went from a middle school student to the first year of the university to enter this sacred place, I deeply feel the opportunity is hard-won, need to cherish. It is this power that makes me feel confident when I stand here.
Of course, it is not enough to have confidence, but also to have certain ability. From childhood, I will not be able to plan activities independently. I will never come to the meeting, from bad to good, and I will complete each work with confidence and modesty.
In middle school, I served as monitor and President of the student union. At work, I consciously cultivate my ability of cooperation and coordination, can I have a sincere cooperation with others, and to coordinate the relationship between the good students, dare to bold to bad behavior management, never soft, therefore, won the praise of teachers and students. I often look at our class cadres from the perspective of my classmates. Talk with your classmates on Saturdays and Sundays. Compared with others, I feel I have more self-confidence, because I am an unyielding person, I have a real sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for our class. I made a dicision to run for an election for the monitor.I felt nervous ,because i didn't good at talking with others.After school ,i got on line to look up how tp give wonderful speeches.The artical not only introduced the information on communication skills,but also recommend,a lecture about communication.I bought the admission ticket to go to listen the lecture.The old profferser taught how to keep confident and how to be persuasive.I listened carefully,and praticed a lot of time.
On the eletion day,I deliver a speech on the rostrum,I was confident and determined.When I concluded the speech,the loudly applause told me,I was elected.

终于等到班队活动课，竞选班长活动开始了，一听到姚老师说：”谁先上来演讲。“一开始我不够自信，真怕走到讲台上。等到第五位，我才走上讲台，讲台下有60多位同学的眼睛和姚老师期待的目光。我心里怦怦直跳，我想我不能当逃兵，所以我拿起竞选稿子，大声演讲，我说完后下面响起了热烈的掌声，我想我一定是成功了，因为爸爸妈妈说过：”只要你站在讲台上，你就成功了。“我的心好象放下了一块大石头，非常轻松。
一个星期过去了，班队活动课是给我们竞选人投票的日子。当时我的心别提有多紧张，就像有一面大鼓在”咚咚咚“的敲着。后来一看是我的票数最高，我兴奋极了，差点一蹦三尺高，真想大喊几声！
老师和同学们，我一定不会辜负你们对我的盼望，请你们相信我的能力！

我叫做林骏豪，今天我第一次站在讲台上演讲，而第一次演讲就是竞选班长，此时此刻我很激动，也很紧张。班长是一个许多同学向往的职位，需要一个有能力有爱心的人来担当，我相信我有这个能力。我在一二三四年级都没有当过班长，大家是不是继续给我这个机会呢？让我童年的里留下为全班同学服务的无比美好的回忆吧！我热情开朗、热爱集体、团结同学、拥有爱心。我的缺点是爱玩游戏，不爱听别人对我的劝告，在未来的日子里，我将改掉这些毛病。
假如我竞选成功当上班长，我将用旺盛的精力、清醒的头脑来做好这项工作，我将举办一系列活动如朗诵，当然还有很多我就不多说了。我想我们都应该当个实干家，不需要那些美丽的词汇来修饰。假如我落选了，说明我还有许多缺点，我将继续自我完善。
工作锻炼了我，生活造就了我。戴尔卡耐基说过“不要怕推销自己，只要你认为自己有才华，你就应该认为自己有资格提任这个或那个职务”。

星期一上午，老师让我们自荐竞选班长，我自告奋勇地报了名。同学们都窃窃私语：“郭子那么弱，能当好班长吗?”我对同学们的猜疑笑而不答，那时我只想飞回家告诉爷爷奶奶：我要参加竞选班长了!
中午老师让我们做好演讲准备，我因为玩心大了，没有写。在心里我一直安慰自己：不就是演讲吗?没什么大不了的，到时再临场发挥吧!
下午，终于到了选班长的那节课。当老师走进教室时，严肃的目光和我对了个正着，在那一刻我的心绷得紧紧的。看着前面几个同学一个一个走下讲台，我的心像是装了一颗定时**似的，一直在“怦怦怦”地响。“下面请郭荧炎同学上台演讲，大家掌声欢迎!”老师的话像突如其来的春雷，惊醒了沉思中的我。在我站起来的那一刻，我什么都没想，只听到自己的心跳声，脚步也迈得十分艰难。终于走上了讲台，现场热闹的气氛一下子凝固了，大家都用期待的目光看着我。“嗯……”我的脑袋一片空白，我的嘴巴不听使唤，我可以感觉到自己的腿在微微颤抖，汗水悄悄爬上了我的背……
当我清醒时，我已经坐在座位上了，我不知道自己说了什么，也不知道自己是怎样走下来的，竞选的结果是我落选了!尽管早有思想准备;尽管老师和同学们都来安慰我，我还是难过地哭了。
妈妈说我打了一场没有准备的仗，其实当没当上班长并不重要，重要的是我尝到了失败的滋味，也使我明白了许多道理，这次的教训我一定会牢牢记住的!

星期五的下午第三节课，王老师组织我们竞选班长。看着老师写在黑板上的“竞选班长”四个大字，教室里的气氛既紧张又有些期盼。同学们都目不转睛地盯着老师。这时王老师亲切地说：“同学们这节课我们要竞选班长……还没等老师说完，同学们就在下面迫不及待地窃窃私语。王老师接着说：”请同学们安静，想当班长的同学要到前面谈谈你为什么要当班长，如果你当了班长打算怎样做。谁先发言？“教室里静悄悄的，虽然我早已准备妥当，可是我没勇气第一个上去。
老师叫了几个举手的同学，轮到我了，我拿着准备好的稿子，定定神，胸有成竹地走上了讲台，并流利地把稿子读完，同学们听了立刻鼓起掌来，我松了一口气，兴奋地走下讲台。最后发言的是彭昭伟，他信心百倍地演讲着，我暗暗佩服，不愧是我们原来的班长，论口才和学识都比我高一截。
开始唱票了，我有些紧张，每听到老师多读一次我的名字，心里就喜悦一次。结果出来了，我18票，是最多的一位。可老师说票数没有达到班级人数的一半，不能算数，我和其他两位同学再观察两个周后重新评选。
我很想成为一名出色的小班长，既能为同学们服务，又能锻炼出自己的才智。我期待着下次的评选活动的到来。
