As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

我当时听说台风要来了心里并不以为然：不就是一个台风吗？又不是没见过。可是在我目睹来势汹汹的台风后我就后悔说过那些话了。下面就请听我细细道来！
那一天中午台风刚来时只是下着小雨，我并不理会它继续看着书.时间过去一个小时，天空开始阴森林的，风儿呼呼地吹，很快狂风夹着雨点拍打窗户噼呖吧啦响.噢！窗外的'垃圾、树叶、草儿尽情地飞舞，树枝使劲的摇来摆去．令人毛骨悚然的是窗在不停的抖动，仿佛下一秒即将破碎．人似呼将要卷上天空．雨越下越猛，不停地冲刷着家的玻璃门，雨水并从门缝流进来，我和妈妈用毛巾把襂进来的氺不停吸干，这时的风和雨并没有停下来的意思，依旧在狂吹狂下雨。我门继续奋斗在一遍一遍吸水，最后还是二姨拿了一块大画板挡在门前才减少雨水的施虐进功。
我无意间从窗外望去，楼下的好几棵大树连根拔起，地面已成汪洋大海。停在楼下的汽车已淹过车轮，泡在水里的车灯忽闪忽闪。广告牌、路灯、电线东倒西歪面目全非。这时，全城没水没电，电话也没有信号似乎要与外界失去一切联系，还好我与家人一起度过这恐怖的台风。从报纸上了解这次台风让我们的家园损失惨重，但是风雨无情，人间有爱，感谢在奋战一线的抢修工作的叔叔和阿姨以及爱心人士。

台风，这个词，随随便便看上去对人似乎毫无危险力，但若它一但爆发出来，那将可能随时都会成为世界末日的到来。
那是一个盛夏的季节，知了在树上拼命的叫道：“知了、知了、知了……”似乎在说：“热啊！热啊！热啊那时，我正呆在家没事干，望望天空，灰蒙蒙、阴沉沉的，似乎有什么忧虑，连人都觉得郁闷，我问妈妈：“妈妈，为什么天空会灰蒙蒙呀？”妈妈说：“噢，我忘了告诉你，今天要刮台风，你不要出去啦！”“哦！”我自言自语的说道。
我独自来到窗户前，望望窗外，小孩、大人都急急忙忙地往各自的家里赶，工人们也下班了，大家都回家了，不到几分钟，街上就空无一人了，只是偶尔有几辆寥寥无几的汽车在街上“跑”过，不一会儿，街上就什么都没有了，连一只小鸟都看不见了，似乎大家都知道了这个消息了。
吃过晚饭，我独自来到阳台，凉风习习，似乎秋天就要来临，但这风来得凶猛却又带点温柔，一阵，一阵，似乎在警告我说：“小朋友，快回屋里去吧！”忽然，一片落叶闯入了我的视线里，那种飘落，既带点伤感，又带点残酷，也许这是人在恐惧中的一种思想吧！
过了一会儿，准备大显身手的无情的台风终于来了，我们家立刻把窗户关紧，关紧，再关紧。咚！咚！砰砰！嘘嘘！台风猛烈地吹啊、吹啊……吹得我家的窗户的玻璃都快要掉了……
砰！咚！又不知哪家的花盆碎了，霹雳啪啦！又不知哪家的玻璃碎了！啊！台风，真是恐怖呀！
过了许久，台风终于停了，望望窗外，真是狼籍一片呀！所有的星星都回家睡大觉了，我也就跟着睡着了……

吃完早饭，我披上一件外套，走到书桌前，开始写作业。呼呼——大风猛烈地吹着，哗哗——大雨也不甘示弱，疯狂地下着。我再也没有心思做作业了，放下笔，走到了窗户前。哇！雨下得好大呀！这样的景象使我不敢相信。窗外的雨跟风一起合作，把街上茂密的大树，娇艳的花朵，绿油油的草地吹得东倒西歪，摇摇欲坠。花朵和草儿打着哆嗦，垂着脑袋，像一个个犯了错误的孩子，正在受罚，它努力支撑着立起来，却又无能为力。
台风狰狞再一次大声咆哮着，在花丛中打了个滚，花被折断了腰，哭丧着坠落到了土上，愤怒却又无助的`望着台风，雨无情地捶打在它身上。只听砰的一声，我连忙看了过去，原来是一盆文竹禁受不住考验，从对面6楼的楼顶上落了下来。在空中伴着风和雨的沐浴，它摇摇摆摆，更显得凄惨无比。过了一会儿，雨变小了一些，可是地面上而满是落叶，花瓣空空的大垃圾桶也无奈地倒下了。这时，妈妈跑来说：快看那，树枝断了！我急忙望去，呀！一棵大树的上半部分已经全部倒在地上了，树枝，树叶放肆地躺在地上。我惊讶无比，心想：这是我见过最大、最猛的台风了！
夏天是个多台风的季节，每当台风登陆时，大家只要互相帮助，团结一心，台风就不可怕了。
