第二天，大象也在坚持的干，小猴呢，今天没有在森林里玩，却在家里玩电脑游戏。动物们问它怎么不干活，它却笑着说：“那只笨大象啊，都两天了，一座桥还没造好，真是慢。”
第三天的上午，大象终于造好了一座桥。这时，猴子急了，它拾了几根树根，找来一些绳子，没一会工夫，它也造好了一座桥。
“桥造好了。”小猴赶快通知大家。大象在自己造的桥上稳稳当当地走了过去，其他的小动物们也跟了过去。小猴也抬起腿，开始走上自己造的桥，可没有走几步，桥晃动了一下，塌了，小猴摔进了河里。
小动物们把小猴救了上来，森林里最有威信的熊猫发话了：“小猴子啊，干什么都要实实在在的，不能耍小聪明的。”
小猴听了脸红了，周围的小动物也都责怪它，小猴红着脸跑回家了。

大象最近在家里闷的慌，想出去找份工作。可就因为他块儿头大，食量大，哪个单位都不愿意录用它。有好心人劝他:“既然大家都不肯录用你，那你就自己开一个澡堂吧。”大象觉得这个提议比较好，就欣然接受了。
过了些日子，大象的澡堂开张了，他站在自己的澡堂门口吆喝起来:“我的澡堂第一天开业，大家都来捧个场吧，五折优惠啊。”小动物们听了这话，“轰”的一声全挤过来了。排在第一位的是河马，大象把河马引进浴室，用鼻子在池里吸了点水，便打算往河马身上冲。河马大叫一声:“停！”大象不解地问他:“怎么了，不是来洗澡的吗？为什么要停呢？”河马气愤地撇了大象一眼，说:“你难道不知道我们和马洗澡先要在泥巴里打个滚的吗？然后再用水冲洗的吗？连这点儿常识也不懂，怎么开澡堂的。？”说完，撇下在那里发呆的大象，头也不回的走了。
大象遭遇了一次失败但他并不气馁，他想:不就是少个泥塘吗？有什么难的？于是他让人在澡堂旁边挖了个泥塘。
第二位客人来了，是只小猴子，大象问它:“您是要沐浴，还是泡泥巴？”小猴子说:“都不要。”大象奇怪了，怎么会都不要。想到这里，大象不进提心吊胆地问小猴子:“那您要什么服务？”小猴子说:“你来帮我身上的盐粒抓出来吧。大象听了又好气又好笑，对小猴子说:“抱歉！这里是澡堂，不提供这项服务，你还是去找别人吧。”小猴子理直气壮地说:“怎么不对了，我们猴子平时就是这样洗澡的，你连这都不知道，真是.......哼！哼！”于是又像河马一样，撇下了都快变成木头雕像的大象，头也不回的走了。
大象着回是傻了眼了，它根本没有想到，平时一直见面的动物们在洗澡时竟有这么多奇怪的要求，真是不可思议。
后来，大象在网上一查，发现其他动物洗澡也都有自己不同的喜好，顿时气馁了。从此，大象的澡堂再也没有在森林里出现过
