There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. 在“十一黄金周”期间，爸爸妈妈带我去了中国的首都——北京。爸妈为了完成我到天安门广场去看升旗的心愿，一大早就带我赶到了天安门广场，虽然时间还早，但这里早已是人山人海。
当第一缕晨光照耀在天安门城楼上时，国旗班战士踏着方步，喊着口号，匀速走过了金水桥。当看到战士走过来时，原本闹闹嚷嚷的广场一下子就肃静起来，肃静得连头发掉在地上都听得见。我见了战士们那种豪情，心中不由地想：祖国可真是越来越昌盛啊！一种自豪感从我心底油然而生。战士们整齐的步伐，走路时那种整齐的“咔咔”声，让人听起来十分悦耳动听。走过金水桥后，战士们走路的速度由慢变快，走路的姿势也不大一样。那时，广场上也已成了人的海洋。擎着五星红旗的战士将旗帜由前拿到后，战士们就像接收到了信号似的，由四排并为两排，步速也越来越快，虽快但不乱，还是那么井井有条地走着。5分钟后，战士们开始向四面走，只剩下三人并排走在一起。三人走到升旗台后，其中一人将红旗往上一扬，军乐团开始奏起《义勇军进行曲》，红旗缓缓地向上升着，顿时，广场上响起了雷鸣一般的掌声，还有和着音乐唱国歌的'声音……
望着这长约20M的旗杆，我想起1840年林则徐虎门销烟的壮举，可真是大快人心；又想起八国联军烧毁圆明园的往事，我不禁引泪而下；又想起1949年10月1日，中华人民共和国成立，第一面中华人民共和国的国旗在天安门上升起，我十分激动。在2003年10月15日，我们民族的骄傲——杨利伟成功升入太空，在太空，他将五星红旗举给中国人民看，举给世界人民看，一种自豪感油然而生，真给中国人民争气……
我又抬起头来，只见红旗升到了旗杆的顶部，正在迎风飘扬。我想：落后就要挨打，只有努力学习，长大了才能保护好我们的家园，保卫好我们的祖国。所以，我下定了决心努力学习，为国家做贡献，为中华之崛起而读书！
