一个星期后，蔬菜冒芽了！不过他们很小，只有两片叶子，好像结不出来什么，可是我还是天天给他们浇水、除草。日子一天天过去，这些大约一厘米高的小苗逐渐长大了，开花了，有的还结果了。小袖珍萝卜已经冲出地面了，圆圆的、胖胖的，它的颜色是粉红色。西红柿还没有结果，茂密的绿色枝条上开了一些黄色的小花，像点缀在大草原上的小星星。土豆只开了一些小白花，这些小白花低着头，好像害羞的样子。葫芦和扁豆还没有结果，可它们都在沿着架子拼命地往上爬，真像几位登山运动员在比赛爬高。南瓜的花很大，黄澄澄的，像几个小喇叭，他们在吹奏菜园乐曲，好像在说：“我在长大！我在长大！”
秋天到了，收获的季节也到了，我菜园子里的菜全成熟了。西红柿已经变红了，像一个个红灯笼。扁豆也结出来了，像一个个小兔子的耳朵。茄子结出来时很好看，因为它反光反得厉害，所以看起来晶莹透亮。葫芦是白绿色的，上小下大，看起来很可爱。南瓜是这里长得最大的，据我观察，南瓜分别有三种：一种长得像角瓜，一种像大灯笼，一种像大葫芦，我种的南瓜最大的有8斤重，抱起来好沉啊！
吃着自己种的菜，好香啊。妈妈还用南瓜做了一个南瓜灯，好玩极了！
