春节到了，爸爸在家门口已经把春联贴好了。“盛世龙腾贺新年，阖家幸福喜开颜”醒目的金字红底，传递的是喜庆与祝福！爸爸看着贴好的对联喜笑盈腮。回到房子里面，母亲微笑着说“我们包饺子吧。”
爸爸和面，母亲洗完菜后切馅、拌馅。该擀饺子皮了，只见爸爸很熟练地拿起擀面杖，左手轻轻地挪动着饺子皮，右手轻重有致地擀着皮儿，不一会一打饺子皮很快擀好了。我以前没包过几次饺子，我拿起一个饺子皮，摊在手心里，用筷子夹了一小团肉馅放在上面。然后一折一捏，满以为一个饺子包成了，没有料到，那馅偏偏不听使唤，像个顽皮的小孩，老往外钻，弄得我满手都是，黏糊糊的。
第一个饺子没有包成功！我不甘心，继续包第二个饺子，结果包得歪歪扭扭，像一个个醉汉躺在那儿，难看极了！再看母亲包的饺子鼓溜溜的，像圆圆的兵乓球一样厚实。我问：“母亲怎样才能包出好看的饺子？”母亲笑着说：“你看——”只见母亲拿起饺子皮放在左手上摊平。然后右手用筷子夹起一些馅，放在饺子皮上，两手合起稍一用劲，松开手，一个鼓溜溜的饺子包好了。我学着母亲的样子，将饺子皮摊放在左手上，右手夹一些馅放在饺子皮上也双手合起一用力，松开一看，饺子馅都从饺子皮中挤了出来。反复试了好多次，我才包出鼓溜溜的饺子。
吃着热乎乎的饺子我们一家人围坐在一起，诉说着自己的心愿和理想，听母亲讲春节的来历，屋子里充满了欢声笑语，其乐融融，无处不显示出春节的热闹与喜庆。

春节的时候，母亲说要包饺子，于是，我和表妹也就加入了，虽然很想包饺子，可是我包的饺子也太烂了一点吧！不好意思献丑，不过，最后我还是加入了。
看着表妹和母亲包的饺子那么好，我也学着她们的样子，包了起来，包好以后，原本自我感觉还可以的我，吓了一跳，这还是饺子吗？太惭愧了，竟然比表妹包的还差好多。

母亲教我先：取饺皮一张于掌心，放入适量馅，将饺皮对折立起，两手的食指和拇指分别从饺皮左右两端往中间捏，中间自然留一个口，把左右两边合拢，留口部分折起捏牢，两边各形成一条褶折。
听母亲讲好以后，我学着母亲说的，做了起来，做了一会儿，总算做好，虽然还是不怎么好看，不过比刚才那个好了一点点。
表妹也争着要教我包饺子，没办法只好学了，她要教我包波波饺：取饺皮一张于掌心，放入适量馅将饺皮对折封口成半圆形，食指稍过拇指前捏，住饺边食指微微将饺皮往前推出褶折，重复褶折直推至右端顶处放手，这样一只波波饺就完成了。
没想到表妹会这么多的包法，她还教了我元宝饺的包法：取饺皮一张于掌心，放入适量馅对折成半圆形，捏牢中间将右半边饺皮封口，同样将左半边饺皮也封口，将饺皮封牢，然后把饺子两端向中间弯拢，将两端饺边相互捏牢，使半圆形的边微微向上翘。

Dumpling is a traditional Chinese food. On the lunar New Year' s Day, most families make a lot of delicious dumplings. To make them, follow this easy process.
The first step is to mix the flour with water. When the dough is ready, we can begin to make dumpling wrappers. We use a rolling pole to roll the dough into small, thin and round pieces so that they will be easy to cook. When the wrappers are done, it' s time to prepare the filling.
Usually, we use meat such as beef or mutton, and some vegetables such as cabbage or carrots for filling. You may actually choose whatever you like to put into it. We must chop those things into small pieces. Then put some salt, oil and other condiments into it and stir it evenly. When all these preparations are done, we can start making dumplings.
First put a spoonful of filling in the center of the wrapper. Then stick the two opposite sides together and then the rest. Don' t just cover the filling with the wrappers.
