My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. 葡萄有着很长的生长过程，大概需要两年时间，葡萄籽长成一个幼小的苗儿，从幼苗长成一个小藤蔓，在藤蔓上长几片叶子，那个小藤蔓变成又粗又长的藤蔓，缠绕着向上长着，你只需给它搭一个高高的架子，它就会顺着往上爬，慢慢的叶子变的繁茂，长出还没有成熟的果实，经过两三个月的生长，藤蔓上就长成了一串串水灵灵的大葡萄。

祖国拥有着许多美景，十一大假的时候我去了吐鲁番。
我们先去了吐鲁番的库木塔格，到了那里，过了沙漠之门，映入眼帘的是无边无际的沙漠。我赤脚走在沙漠上，感受着大自然，太阳为沙漠散发出微光，每一粒沙子都有着太阳的余温。当我深深地踩下一个脚印，回过头来，只能隐约地看见自己的脚印，因为踩下去一个脚印，上面的沙子就会往下漏，渐渐地把那个脚印填满，真是因为这样，我走得无比吃力，渐渐地腿开始酸了，汗水顺着我的脸颊流了下来。我们又去做了冲浪车，当车行驶到陡坡时，随着我们的尖叫声，沙子腾空飞起，让我们吃了一嘴的沙子。
我们又去了葡萄沟，这是我很向往的一个地方。下了车，我就奔向葡萄架底下，“哇！”我不禁发出了声儿，那一串串晶莹剔透的葡萄，绿的葡萄就像翡翠一样，有一种葡萄被称为“玻璃翠”这种葡萄小而甜。郁郁葱葱的枝叶向四周展开，形成了一个绿色的大棚，那一串串葡萄就从枝叶上垂挂下来，真是叫人垂涎欲滴啊！
葡萄还可以晒成葡萄干，那葡萄干就是从阴房里晒出来的。那阴房是用一块块土砖堆积而成，四周都留着小孔，是想让风来把葡萄的水蒸气蒸发掉，这样葡萄就成了葡萄干。这葡萄沟可真名不虚传啊！

我的家乡吐鲁番，素有火洲之称，一年四季不下雨，更别提下雪了。因此，我别提对下雪有多稀奇了，好期盼吐鲁番能下一场雪！
我希望能在寒假的时候，吐鲁番能下一场雪，因为这样，我就能尽情地欢快在这雪的世界里。当我早晨推开家门，映入我眼帘的是皑皑的白雪，地上、树上、屋顶上、池塘里、小溪边……，全是银装素裹。走在雪地上，会听到咯吱咯吱的声音。小朋友们早已经来到了雪地里，他们堆雪人、打雪仗、玩雪橇，不亦乐乎；叔叔阿姨们为了路人出行安全，忙着打扫马路上的积雪；小动物们也早早的从洞穴中“走”出来，它们也非常好奇这银色的世界，一点也不惧怕冬天的严寒……
我早已忘了自己还处于感冒之中，穿上妈妈给我买了几年，却一直没有穿上的雨靴，疯一般的冲进了大雪之中，冲向已经被大雪包围的小朋友们，和他们一起在雪地里堆起了雪人。大家有的用手将白雪揉成雪团，运到堆雪人的地方；有的嫌用手拿太慢，干脆用衣服来兜雪、运雪；有的有模有样，当起了画家、雕塑家。有的小朋友见帮不上忙，干脆另外组织一支队伍，在雪地里玩起了做迷藏，一会儿在草垛里藏藏，一会儿在雪坡边打个滚，别提有多高兴。大家一个个小脸冻得通红，却没有一个人喊冷，衣服湿了，脱了扔在一边；鼻涕流出来了，用小手一擦；小手冻僵了，用白雪搓搓。我们欢快在这银色的世界，早就和它融为了一体。
能下这场雪，对于干旱之极的吐鲁番农民来说，真是应了那句“瑞雪兆丰年”。干旱的禾苗、树木美美的吸收起水分，来年定能茁壮成长。农民伯伯们都走进田野，一会儿在麦埂上蹲下，用手抚摸一下幼嫩的麦苗；一会用手拍拍树干，脸上洋溢的全是笑容。
我期待这场雪能早早的来到！
