阳春三月，粉红的桃花裂开了笑脸，引来了一只只蜜蜂。青翠的杨柳枝上的嫩芽冒出了小脑袋，一群燕子也陆续从南方飞了回来，大自然呈现出一派生机勃勃的景象。我家屋檐上新搬来了一户"人家"——燕子，前几日，它们在这儿筑了巢，安了家，准备在这儿养儿育女，繁衍后代。不久，我惊奇的地发现，燕妈妈孵出了四只小雏燕。虽然它们个头不大，却在巢里活蹦乱跳，可爱极了。
这几天，我几乎每次都去看燕宝宝，盼望它们能快点长大。有一天，我仍然像往常那样去看燕宝宝们，发现燕妈妈，燕爸爸不见了，我猜想他们可能是为了抚养这些雏燕们，外出觅食去了吧。于是，我站在那里一直观看它们。
突然，燕宝宝们又开展了"活动"，一只较大的小燕叽叽喳喳地好像在说："以前爸爸妈妈一直教我们飞行，现在既然大家已经都会飞一小段路程，那倒不如趁爸爸妈妈外出，我们来一次飞行比赛吧！从小到大开始。"雏燕们纷纷答应了，比赛开始了，一只最小的'燕子扑打着翅膀，装出胸有成竹的样子，很快飞了出去。可正当它飞在半路中时，它的翅膀无力了，嘴里发出凄厉的叫声。其余三只燕子们在巢里扑打着翅膀，使劲地叫喊好像在说："谁来救救我们！谁来救救我们！"只见它头拼命往上抬，翅膀不停地颤动着，发出惨重的叫喊声。
看见在半空中挣扎的小燕，我急忙跑过去伸出手臂想试图救小燕子，但我还是没能接住它。它落地后，，我迅速走上前去把它抱起。突然，一只野猫凶恶地从草丛中蹿出来，还带着锋利的牙齿，它看见这奄奄一息的小燕子，便发出尖锐的叫声，似乎在说："哇！今天真是大喜，天上居然掉美食啊！"雏燕惊慌失措，腿在不停地抽搐着，翅膀也微微地颤抖着。贪吃又贪婪的野猫蓄势待发，它身体逐渐向前倾，尾巴直竖，还伸出了鲜红的舌头，想抓起燕子塞入口中。
这时，我随即拿起墙头的一把扫把，想办法驱赶它，救助雏燕，最后那只野猫终于被赶走了。之后，我小心翼翼地抱起燕子，说："你别怕，小燕子，我会把你带回家给你治疗的！"燕爸爸，燕妈妈回来了看见这一场景，似乎明白了什么便说："谢谢你！谢谢你！"然后，我和爸爸齐心协力一起拿来梯子，把小燕送回了巢中。
缕缕阳光照耀在我家院子里，这时的桃花更美了，杨柳更翠了，我也为燕子一家感到欣慰。

一天下午，我和好朋友陈家尹正在玩，他突然想起足球还在外面，我就帮他一起去找足球。
我们正找着，突然发现绿化带边的草地上一只鸽子正扑腾着翅膀，怎么也飞不起来，看来是受伤了。这只鸽子长得很漂亮，体型很健壮，背上的羽毛是黑色的，翅膀上的羽毛黑白相间，肚子上的羽毛半灰半白。只见它歪着小脑袋，一对水汪汪的眼睛正惊恐地看着我们，好像在想：“他们是谁呀?不会吃了我吧?”我觉得它很可怜，就打算把它带回家治疗。但是鸽子很惊慌，不停地向前扑腾，我和家尹费了九牛二虎之力才把它捉住。刚捉住它的时候，鸽子浑身在颤抖，我一边轻轻地抚摸着它的头，一边小声地说：“小鸽子，别害怕，我们是来救你的`。”鸽子好像听懂了我的话，安心地坐在了我的手掌上。我们仔细检查了鸽子的全身，原来鸽子的背上受伤了，还挺严重，皮毛脱落了，肉模糊的。
我立刻小心地抱着鸽子回家，赶紧让爸爸拿来纸箱、大米和水，自己拿钱去买红药水。一切准备就绪，我拿出我自制的镊子，小心翼翼地把鸽子身上的烂毛清理干净，然后用剪刀一点一点把它的烂皮剪掉。这一步要特别注意，因为一不小心就会影响其它好皮。我虽然没有干过这一行，但我好像有当医生的天赋，不一会儿就完成了。最后擦上红药水，完美!
第二天早上，我一起床就去查看鸽子，它居然飞到了货架上。我抬头看着它，它也低头看着我。这时我忽然发现它脖子上的羽毛居然能变颜色，往左看是翡翠绿，往右看是茉莉粉，真的好漂亮!
小鸽子恢复得可真快!它坐在货架上，仍然歪着小脑袋，还是那双水汪汪的眼睛。但它没有像昨天那样惊恐地看着我了，眼神中似乎充满了感激，好像在说：“谢谢你救了我!”于是我也对着它说：“不用谢，可爱的小鸽子。你就安心在这儿养伤吧，等你会飞了，就飞回原来的家吧，加油哟!”
