Today is Monday. I got up at 6:30 a.m.. Then I washed my face and ate breakfast. Milk, bread, egg and porridge are my favorites. My mother always gets up early and cooks for me. This morning, I drank a cup of milk and ate bread and an egg.
After breakfast, I went to school at 7:00. School started at 7:50 and I usually get there at 7:30. I had English, history, math and geography in the morning. I liked English very much, because my English teacher is very nice. After school in the morning, I went home at 11:30. Then I ate lunch and then had a short rest.
I went to school at 14:00. In the afternoon, I had four classes: music, biology, and two periods of Chinese. I liked Chinese, too, because Chinese is our national language and it's very beautiful. After school, I went home for dinner. After dinner, I spent half and an hour in my homework. Then I watched TV and played computer games.

在同样不景气的环境中，为什么有的人因潮流的冲击而穷困潦倒、经济拮据，有的人却不受影响，依旧在低潮中创造出亮丽的业绩呢？造就他们成败的不是别的，就是她们所抱持着的\'不同“态度”。
不同的态度能影响人的一生。虽然人一出生是有条件上先天的差异，有人是含金汤匙出生，拥有显赫的家世及优渥的环境；有人出生在平平凡凡的家庭，家世普通，也没有富裕的学习环境。但能挤身于成功俱乐部的人，，却不一定是那些富家子弟。先天丰厚的条件的确会让人较容易成功，可是决定入会条件的其实是对人、事、物的“态度”。即使把握“身世”、“学历”……的金钥匙，但若放弃正面积极的态度，你的人生，依然是输了。
蓝领工人吴清吉没有比别人高的学历，有没有比别人显赫的背景，但经济不景气却无法冲淡他的业绩，依旧炙手可热，还被称为“国宝级的地砖师傅”，他凭着什么？就是一份坚持要做到最好的执着，使他能在人生这场战争中，打下一漂亮的胜仗。
反过来看，游民克鲁伯．哈鲁多虽然上天给于予他优越的条件，不过因为两次的婚姻失败，而使他心灰意冷，开始酗酒，也逐渐将他从名作家推向沦落街头的命运。打败他的并不是英国的不景气，而是他的态度，因为他放弃了正面积极的态度，也失去了他原来美好的一生。
有一句话说：“态度是学历、经验之外，人格特质的总和”。成功不在于专业知识、技能，而是坚持到底的做事态度，人因态度而改变一生。态度，就是那最重要的金钥匙！

但没过多久，国王就发现，人们都在忙于各自的事情，根本没时间读那么多本书，于是，国王又把这些学者们请回来，要他们把这12本书精编成一本。
按照国王的新命令，学者们费尽脑汁，几经筛选，最后终于编著出这一本书。不过，没多久，这些学者又接到国王的命令，国人还是没时间看完这本书，要他们再度集中，把这一本书里最重要的东西浓缩提炼成一句话。
最后，这一句话终于被提炼出来啦，不过在全世界有各式版本，比如，在中国，这句话是“织而衣，耕而食”，在美国，在英国、在丹麦，又都有着各自不同的一句话。不过故事的结尾在所有的国家都是相同的，那就是问每个读到这个故事的人：如果要你自己将自己认为生命中最重要的事情用一句话提炼出来，那会是什么。
故事的结尾处这样说：也许世界上并没有这样一个国家，也没有这样一个国王，但有一点却是千真万确的.，那就是许多人终其一生，都不知道自己生命中最重要的事情究竟是什么。
一个人的一生中充满各种大大小小的事情及诱惑，所以必须学会筛选与集中，比如筛选出一天中最重要的事情，集中精力先把最重要的这一件做完做好，剩余的时间与精力再尽量解决其它问题;比如筛选出一个月中最重要的事项，一年中最重要的目标项目，一生中最重要的……
