summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I am going to do my homework every day so that I can finish my homework on time.I am going to the library to borrow some books and go to the shops to buy some books so that I can read some interesting books. I am going to play sports such as playing basketball, table tennis, swimming and so on . Of course I am going to help my parents do some housework because they are busy with their work every day.I am going to spend a week in Shanghai with my parents so that we can see the expo. I am sure I am going to have an interesting and happy summer vacation.

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.

暑假，我参加了爸爸单位组织的旅游活动，在这次活动中，我登上了长白山，看到了人们常谈的“人间仙境”。
那天清晨，我们来到了长白山的小天池。小天池的风景真美，湖水平如明镜，微风轻佛，把叛变的花草树木和岩石都倒映在碧波涟漪的小天池里。碧绿的湖水和倒映中的林海峭壁融为一体，更为小天池的景致添色不少。
八点左右，我们乘车去长白山顶，看长白山的天池。车沿着盘山道盘旅行驶，我坐在撤离，手里拿着《长白山浏览图》，真想插上翅膀快点儿飞到那儿，看看这举世闻名的长白山天地。窗外，一座座大山在眼前掠过，一片片松林在眼前出现。汽车很快地到了长白山天池的旁边。天池周围屹立着十六座雄伟的峰恋，像一尊尊勇士。这十六座巨峰，有的像直插青天的宝塔;有的似瞪着眼睛的雷翁……
接着，我们离开了天池，坐车到长白山下看瀑布。瞧那飞流的瀑布，似一条银白色的带子从巍巍山峰上倾泻下来。它轰鸣着，喧嚷着，响声震耳欲聋，千丝万缕的水丝汇成澎湃的瀑布，激流并进出千滴万粒的水珠，在阳光照射下闪着银光。耳畔不由想起唐代大诗人礼拜的千古名句：“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天。”
我站在长白山天池旁，被这人间仙境深深迷住了，我真想大声呼喊：“我爱这人间仙境，我爱祖国的打好河山!”

今年暑假八月份，我去了东北的长白山。
导游姐姐告诉我们长白山山上有一个美丽的天池，然而因为山上雾大，能不能看见天池，就只能随缘了!
长白山十分美丽，特别是高山花园里，有很多美丽的花朵!从山下坐着环保车到处都是绿树成荫，一眼望去到处都是绿色。
来到登山口我们下了车，哇噻!好冷啊!我们连忙去租棉袄穿。听导游姐姐说长白山海拔两千多米，我们选爬的的西坡是走台阶的，一共有一千二百三十六个台阶!长白山北、南、西、东这四个坡中，西坡看的景最为全面。长白山的三分之二是朝鲜的，只有三分之一是我国的!长白山是朝鲜人心目中的圣山，也被朝鲜人称为白头山!
我们往上爬，我爬了四百多个台阶以后，就不行了，想等着爸爸他们爬完了就一起下去。可是就在这时太阳来了，雾都散了，爸爸说这么大的太阳不上去看天池，终身遗憾啊!唉，没办法了，爬吧!爬到六百个台阶时，我累得不行了，爸爸又在那儿说：“都爬了一半了!不爬上去多可惜啊!”我们有继续往上爬，爬一爬，歇一歇，终于爬上去了!
哇!天池真美啊!，碧蓝的水，周围是绿色的植物，真像一幅名家画的画一样!真是不登长白山，终身遗憾啊!
