nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single,yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

星期六，阳光明媚，我们在教室里等老师上课。这时，老师拿来一袋文具，我想：老师这葫芦里卖的是什么药？
上课了，老师从袋子里拿出卡纸、剪刀、彩纸、彩笔、胶水，叫我们做“三八”妇女节的贺卡。我听了，十分高兴。
首先，我把卡纸对折，用波浪剪刀在卡纸一角剪掉，接着我用剪刀在卡纸的中间剪了一个爱心形，再在下面空白的纸上描了一个爱心，在里面写了一句祝福语：“妇女节快乐！”然后，我在旁边画了一些月亮、星星和白云。最后，我在反面画了一些康乃馨和郁金香，在旁边画了些花纹。没一会儿，我的贺卡就做好了。我的心情是多么快乐呀！
回家后，我把贺卡送给妈妈，妈妈说我做的贺卡很漂亮，我的心里是那样得美滋滋呀！

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.
一天，保罗和理查德决定做一个风筝。
首先，他们出门找了两根一样长的直木棍。他们把木棍带回家，用一根绳子把它们绑成十字形。然后他们又拿了些绳子，把木棍的四个顶端连在一起。然后，他们把一些颜色鲜艳的纸涂上胶水，粘在风筝的框架上。他们将纸做的尾巴粘在一角，在风筝中间系上一根长绳。
在接下来的一个有风的日子里，他们就在家附近的小山上放风筝了。

我看妈妈正在切菜，我说：“妈妈，我来帮您切菜吧，”妈妈说：“哎呦！小宝贝，别切着你的手还是妈妈来切吧。”我说：“妈妈，切菜对于我来说是小菜一碟，”妈妈说：“好吧，你试试看，小心一点啊”于是，我小心翼翼的开始切菜。看着很简单的事情原来也不容易啊，菜让我切的`大的大小的小形状各异，还差点切着我的小手。吃晚饭，我抢先当上了刷碗工，呵呵！这回我可是落下妈妈了。妈妈笑咪咪的看着我问：“你今天这是怎么啦？又切菜又刷碗的？”我说：“妈妈，今天是你的节日，我要帮你干点家务，我不光帮你切菜，洗碗我还要帮你洗衣服呢！”妈妈说：“那就洗你和妈妈的袜子吧！”于是，我把袜子泡在水里，拿来肥皂准备开始洗袜子。我捞起一只袜子搓上肥皂使劲搓起来，袜子上的污渍怎么也搓不下去，我有点不耐烦了问妈妈：“这袜子怎么那么难洗？”妈妈说：“还不是你平常拿袜子当鞋穿，整天地上跑来跑去的好洗才怪呢！”“哦，是这么回事，”我边搓别感觉很累，歇了一会儿继续洗。看着妈妈旁边的一堆衣服想：“这些衣服要是我洗得洗到什么时候啊？”袜子终于洗完了，看了看洗的不太干净的袜子心里有点过意不去，心想：“以后一定多注意点卫生让妈妈少洗点衣服”
洗完衣服妈妈搂着我笑着说：“我的小宝贝又长大了在学校学到了很多的知识也学会了成长”我虽然很累但是心里跟喝了蜜一样的甜。同学们你们一定也要多体谅妈妈，她为我们的成长付出了很多，我们要少让妈妈生气呦？
