“啊，太好了!我成功了!”“老爸，你真了不起!”家里传来一阵阵欢呼声，咦，这是怎么一回事呢?
原来是爸爸二级建造师的考级通过了，我们全家兴奋不已。这事还得从几个月前说起。
那时爸爸报名学习建造师，刚开始学，妈妈劝他放弃：“你多年不捧书本了，还不知道能不能过，你就别学了!”我也问：“爸爸，你能行吗?”而爸爸却说：“你们不知道现在的社会竞争多么激烈啊，要是没文化那怎么办?再说了，我不试一试怎么能够知道行不行呢?如果这次不行，下次再考，总会成功的，你们就看我的。”他每隔一天去学校学习，捧起了多年不捧的书本。
一个星期天，我在房间里看电视，爸爸却把自己关在电脑桌前做习题。这时正好电视里播放动物世界，爸爸平时最爱看了。我忙跑出来叫爸爸，可爸爸回道：“女儿啊，爸爸再过几天就要了，只要我好好复习，就一定能考取好成绩来给你们看。”这时，妈妈做了一个手势，轻声说：对啊!别打扰你爸爸，他已经很辛苦了。“
过了一个多小时，当我轻手轻脚地打开房门走到了他的身后，他全然不知，正在认认真真地复习，有时会皱紧眉头好像在思考什么，看着爸爸那股认真劲儿，我不敢再打扰他了。
我轻手轻脚帮爸爸关好房门，关掉电视看书去了。这时妈妈过来说：“女儿，今天爸爸有可能晚些睡觉，不要打扰他，他再过几天就要考试了，爸爸这两天已经很忙了，又要照顾工地又要学习。”那段时间，家里总是特别安静，学习的学习，看书的看书。
临近考试那几天，爸爸更加辛苦了，有时爸爸学习累了，让妈妈帮他擦掉答案，反反复复地做。他就趁这空当出来和我说说话，或下楼散散步缓解疲劳，然后又去复习了。他经常复习到深夜，经常看到他眼睛里布满了丝，人也瘦了很多。
终于功夫不负有心人，爸爸的刻苦努力、持之以恒终于得到了回报。爸爸拿到了证书，这两天他又信心十足地准备报考一级建造师。爸爸，我为你自豪，你真了不起!
