从小到大，我们几乎都被家长教育过：不要吃方便面，那是垃圾食品，没营养！过去的'方便面可能还不太好吃，但是现在，货架上的方便面品种繁多，越来越多的人都能找到自己喜欢的品种了。鲜香美味、口味多样，吃起来又简单快捷的方便面，总是诱惑着很多人的心，特别是小孩子，往往都青睐于干脆面，不愿意吃饭时也会泡上一碗泡面。美食诱惑当前，不免会想：方便面真的是垃圾食品吗？
在方便面的包装上有一个表格，可以看到它包含的一部分营养元素。从表格中能够看出，方便面当中的碳水化合物含量比较高，油炸型的方便面脂肪含量也比较高，而蛋白质的含量则往往不太高。另外，还有一个含量比较高的营养元素就是钠，小小一包方便面的调料如果全都吃掉，往往人一天的钠摄入量已经够了。
可见，说方便面没营养是不合适的，但它也确实不算是健康食品。我们都知道过多摄入碳水化合物和脂肪容易导致肥胖，带来许多健康问题，所以如果每天吃好几包干脆面，甚至用它代替主食，肯定是不利于健康的。方便面中的钠也是一个容易引起疾病的因素，它是盐和味精的主要成分，如果长期摄入过多容易导致高压、电解质失衡等等问题。
而且，方便面的营养成分比较单一，蛋白质含量不够，经过高温加工后的面饼还会损失许多维生素，所以是不能一顿饭只吃方便面的。
如果很喜欢吃泡面，或者因为一些原因不得不吃，它的正确吃法是什么呢？可以在吃泡面的时候配上鸡蛋、蔬菜等等配菜，再少放一些调料，这样就能保证营养均衡，而且也不会摄入过多的钠元素。至于干脆面，应该尽量少吃。
所以，方便面不是不能吃，而是要讲究吃的方法，吃得正确了，它就不是垃圾食品。
