它有好几本，每一本里都有许多稀奇古怪的传说，像什么海上蛇国之谜、人体带电之谜、动物思维之谜。
这本书的文字都带有拼音，这样我就能认识没有学过的字，理解文章的意思。在文章的边上还有丰富多彩的图画，就好像我真的到了那神奇的地方。
通过看这本书我增加了许多知识，丰富了我的想象力。让我感到这个世界多么奇妙！

小美美有一个大大的头，就像《阿衰》里面的大脸妹一样。不过，大脸妹很凶，我的小美美可不凶哦!它很温柔的。小美美的耳朵就像两根香蕉，一甩一甩的，好像要吃那两根香蕉似的耳朵;它的耳朵又像扇子一样，正帮着它解热呢!还有它的小嘴巴，一直闭着，就像肚子很饱了，不要再吃东西了。
小美美不仅可爱，还是我的`小伙伴呢!上次，爸爸妈妈不在家，所以我做完作业就睡觉去了。半夜醒来，我感觉少了点什么，就用手去摸，“咣”的一声，杯子掉到了地上，这下我可全醒了，原来布娃娃不在我的身边，我大哭了起来。奶奶听到了我的哭声，跑来了，问我怎么啦?我说我的布娃娃不在。奶奶听了，急忙帮我去拿布娃娃。我抱起布娃娃又开始睡了。

《夏目友人帐》主要讲述了男主人公夏目贵志拥有可以看到妖怪的特殊能力。因为父母双亡他的性格较为孤僻，并且由于他具有特殊的能力，他常辗转在于亲戚之间并被同龄人欺负。虽然他经历了许多不幸，但他依旧有好善良没有埋怨任何人。最终他被有好善良的藤原夫妇收养并进入高中。有一天，他被妖怪追赶躲进神社，不小心打破了一只强大妖怪斑的封印。并牵涉到了他祖母夏目玲子的遗物—一本同妖怪签订的`契约书。之后，这只强大的妖怪平时便变成猫的样子待在夏目身边保护他，但是他的条件是夏目后要把这本契约书给它。但在此之前夏目决定尽其所能把契约书上的名字还给妖怪们让它们得到自由。由此，一个个温馨、感人、惊险的故事就此展开。
