国际经济法所具有的鲜明的国际性和任意性决定了国际经济法课程本身贯穿了从事国际经济活动的当事人跨文化交流的过程，因此，对于国际经济法课程的教学而言，就必须将学生跨文化交流能力的培养作为其教学的核心目标，分析、解决问题的能力也必须建立在跨文化交流能力的基础之上。具体而言，在国际经济法的教学过程中，要围绕学生的跨文化交流能力，通过各种教学法的综合应用，提高学生对跨文化交流能力在国际经贸活动中的重要性的认识;同时，通过案例、问答、角色扮演和辩论等方式，让学生在与实际相似的情景中逐渐、认知和运用跨文化交流能力，从而为国际经济活动的顺利开展创造条件。
3.国际经济法教学过程要以学生的批判性跨文化思维能力培养为主要内容
各个国家和地区由于政治、经济和文化水平以及价值观等的不同，使得本国或本地区跨文化法学教育的内容呈现出不同的特点和形式，向多元化的方向发展。就我国的国际经济法教学而言，学生跨文化能力的培养应以认识能力中的批判性思维能力为主。批判性思维能力在人类的认知过程中常起着举足轻重之作用，以此为媒介，方能祛魅存真，抵达理性之光明彼岸。而批判性思维能力的培养离不开教育的作用。在现代社会，加强批判性思维能力的培养具有更积极和更重要的作用。在全球化进程中，信息技术革命和资本的全球性流动为文化信息的广泛而迅速的传播提供了载体、工具和渠道，而每一条纷繁复杂的信息背后必然隐含着一定的意识形态、价值取向。如何对上述纷繁复杂的信息做出分析、比较和取舍，取决于从事国际经济活动的当事人是否具备严谨的批判性跨文化思维能力。有了批判性跨文化思维的能力，学生方能正确而全面地分析、理解这些信息所包含的不同民族文化，把握本民族文化与异民族文化的异同，并能在比较的基础上选择学习或者舍弃异民族文化，或其某些成分，从而促进跨文化实践走向理性，实现国际经贸活动的共赢。
