一.明确高二在整个高中阶段的重要地位。
按照常理，高二是整个高中三年承上启下的一个阶段。它是在高一进入高中阶段迈好第一步、打好基础的前提下，进一步接受新的知识，提升能力，从而对高中各科知识的认识逐渐成熟，学习方向、学习方法逐渐明确的阶段。这一阶段学习的一个直接目的，是实现与高三要学习的知识的顺利对接，进而实现每个家长和学生在高中阶段的最大梦想——进入理想的大学之门。
然而实际情形是，随着各地各校高考竞争压力的增加，各地各校纷纷加快讲课进度，为的是为高三节省出更多的复习时间。所以，实际上在高二阶段，高三的课程已基本结束，在进入高三时，全面复习就已经展开了。
因此，高二是高中三年学习课程最多、打基础的最关键的阶段。这一阶段基础不牢，势必降低高三的听课效率，每一节课都会有因基础不牢而不能掌握的内容，每一节课都会较基础好的学生少解答几个问题，少掌握一部分知识，如此恶性循环，再谈高考成功，势如空谈。譬如下棋，一招不慎，招招被动，满盘皆输。
二.算好假期时间帐，抢抓时间与机遇，过一个令一生有益的寒假。
本次寒假从二月四号开始，到二月二十八号结束，期间共二十四天时间。现在学生在校每天正式上课的时间是12节课。如果您的孩子在假期中能够保证每天学习一定的时间，那么这个寒假将有很充裕的学习时间。这就是说，如果您的孩子学习中有弱科，这个寒假，他(她有时间来弥补这个漏洞;如果您的孩子没有弱科，利用好这段时间，会使他(她的成绩更上一层楼。这也是很多参加高考的学生最终期望的结果：弱科不弱，强科更强，两相结合，万无一失。
三.保持在校的学习状态，学校在开学伊始，立即进行。
为了能够使您的孩子在假期不忘自身角色，保持良好的学习状态，高二年级在下学期开学，就要举行考试，让学生收心，同时检查学生在寒假期间的学习情况。现将我们年级在寒假中给学生布置的作业告知给您，以便您能更好地、有针对性地督促您的孩子进行学习，同时也请你一定要在寒假结束时对孩子在家学习情况做个记载并在开学时以书面形式给班主任老师反馈，这是孩子报名时必须要交的回执，请您不要只签上您的姓名，给一点具体的反馈意见将对您的孩子有更大的促进。(作业附后
四.注意安全，远离有害于身心健康的活动，关心家长，过一个安全、健康、祥和、快乐的新年。
年终喜庆，学生在沉浸于欢乐之中时，对自身的安全和身心健康很容易忽视，希望您多嘱咐、多关爱您的.孩子，远离危险品和有害的社会活动，让他(她们在新的一年增长一岁的同时，思想和行为向成熟再跨进一步。
