One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

紧张
紧张是每个人遇到对自己非常重要的事，所产生的正常心理反应。记得有一次朗读比赛，我代表班级迎战年级朗读比赛，比赛前，因为紧张，我不停的读稿背稿，到赛前，喝了太多凉水，结果嗓子又嘶又哑。我紧张极了，生怕出什么意外，结果到上台时，情绪也没调整好，最终以失败告终。所以说，遇事不能紧张，我告诉到家一个控制紧张情绪的好方法吧！吃糖，甜甜蜜蜜的糖，能让你轻松一些，考试或赛前吃些糖吧，有利于调节情绪，沉着应战考场。
兴奋
兴奋应该是个中性词，但是比赛或考试前太兴奋，也很容易影响到正常发挥。上一次期末考试，我每天都认真学习到深夜，我认为自己可以稳拿第一了。于是我询问别的同学复习得怎样，有的人说，他根本复习不下去。也有人说，总想玩，哪有心思复习。听了这些话，我更加得意洋洋。考试前和考试的时候，我一直静不下心，很是兴奋。考试后的结果很让我震惊，因为粗心错了20多分。所以一定要保持良好的精神状态，去迎战考场。
无论是紧张还是兴奋都能给比赛结果带来大的变化，所以调整好自己的情绪很重要，特别是中招高招的`时候，一步棋下错，全盘都会输。胜不骄，败不馁。是古人给我们的启示，只有不断努力，以平常的心态看周围的事物，我们才能增强自身实力，日益进步。
