有了手机，即使我们之间的距离再遥远，我们都可以和家人、朋友通话聊天。我们甚至可以下载一些免费的社交软件像是微信、微博、面子书等，让我们随时随地和别人聊天，认识新朋友。手机里的.一些应用程序也让我们的生活变得更加方便。给个例子，我们现在已经可以从网上购买日常用品，并在网上缴水电费，不用大老远地到别的地方付费。
此外，手机也为我们的生活增添了一份乐趣。无聊时，我们可以通过玩手机游戏来打发时间。另外，手机也可以让我们听听音乐，陶冶心情。手机也是我们学习的好帮手。在我们有问题时，我们只需搜索一些，便能找到答案了。
虽然手机带来的不少的好处，不过它带来的坏处也不少。像是有些学生因长时间玩手机游戏，而到了凌晨还没睡觉。隔天时，便感到十分疲累，在课堂上打瞌睡，从此成绩一落千丈。除此之外，有些学生也因使用手机观看一些黄色网站，让他们不知不觉中被这些文化影响。
手机带给我们最严重的坏处就是我们随处可见到的低头族。即使是大家聚在一起用餐时，我们还是看到所有人低着头在按手机。这样的现象让大家缺乏沟通，导致关系越来越疏远，也让我们的社交能力越来越差。
总而言之，手机是人类所发明的，所以我们应该要妥善地使用手机，而不是被手机控制了我们的生活。

even if such a catastrophe would not happen, there would be a great temperature difference on the two hemispheres of the earth, and the four seasons of the year would no longer occur because a day and a night would be as long as a whole year instead of 24 hours. all this would greatly affect the life of human beings, imals and plants and that would cause worse results than anything imaginable.

1.家长会：暑假课程结束，我校将召开一次家长会，总结暑假课程，了解孩子暑假学习情况。到时候会以书面的形式通知到各位家长，欢迎家长到时能如期参加。
2.天天过关：我们要求孩子每次所学单元的重点音标、发音代表词、字母能够正确认读、表演、背诵。每堂课课后有过关检查，如孩子没有达到要求，没有过关，要留下来直到过关方能回家。
3.家庭作业：很多家长都很关注孩子一个学期所学的内容以及孩子的作业是什么，所以，每堂课的家庭作业，老师都要求孩子抄写在作业本上，请家长在家配合监督，并签字(让孩子把作业本拿出来给家长看
4.请假补课：为了保证学生学习的连贯性，我们希望家长和学生能尽量避免请假，旷课的情况出现，希望能用更多的时间放在给孩子复习和巩固上，而不是给他们补习新课知识。但是如果实在避免不了请假的情况，请家长以电话形式告知老师，如能提前告知我们，我们会安排老师免费补课。为了保证孩子一个学期的知识学习不出现断层，所以一个学期的请假次数不要超过3次。如果请假次数超过4次，孩子即使单独补课也会严重落课的。但凡请假，须通过带班老师批准，否则学校不安排免费给孩子补课。(补课以补课内容为标准，而不以时间为标准。学校安排的免费补课，请学生按时参加，若未能参加者，学校不另行安排补课。
5.电话教学：每学期每位学员享有我校两次电话教学，电话教学指的是老师和学生在电话里进行沟通的一种服务。
6.财产/交通安全：请各位家长尽量避免孩子带贵重物品：如手机、MP4或玩具到校，请家长尽量避免孩子带零食到校食用。请家长提醒孩子注意交通和个人安全，避免发生意外。学校在这方面也会重点关注和重视的!

There are more than one angle to consider this phenomenon. On one hand, it is pleasantly acknowledged that smartphones shorten the distance between families and friends. Even people from different sides of the globe can share pictures, feelings and thoughts through various types of apps on the phone, thus building a long-distance connection.
