1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

在我生日那天傍晚，妈妈从外面回来，一进门就对我说：“拓拓，今天是你的生日，这是你的生日礼物。”说罢，妈妈便把一个盒子递给我，我接过盒子一看，啊太好了！这不是我梦寐以求的高达模型吗！我立刻飞奔上楼，开始拼装起来。经过一小时一分零一秒的时间后，我终于拼好了。
只见这个高达模型名叫天使，它高18厘米，宽5厘米。它有二把冲锋枪，这二把冲锋枪还可以在战斗中合成一把更历害的威力更大的一把冲锋枪。这个高达模型的背后有2对白色的翅膀，最前面的一对可以在战斗中自动合拢保护高达免受子弹的攻击。它的胸前有一个发射炮弹的孔，在高达遇到劲敌时会准确无误地索定敌方进行炮弹攻击。它的`头与别的高达模型不同，因为它两腮旁各有一个像飞镖一样的蓝色的东西，可能是用来对敌方进行无线电干扰的。额头上还有4根黄色的向外扩散的针锥形的无线电接收器，大概是在战斗中与同伴进行交流的。肩膀二侧各有一个重机枪，在敌人靠近时可以出其不意地打中敌人的眼睛。它的手腕上有一个盾牌，盾牌上有一个激光炮，在战斗中可以随时向敌人发射激光。这个模型还有一个大大的支架，可以把高达架到半空中，做出各种如动话片中所表演的战斗时的动作。
只见它二脚微微张开，拳头紧握，眼睛炯炯有神地望着前方，威风凛凛地站在我的面前，随时准备着对付来犯的敌人。看着拼好的高达，我心中无限自豪！

我拿到模型后，就拆开包装袋，把材料拿出来后，按照老师说的先做机翼。拿到工作台板上做，我用里面的四个零件和三根固定零件的小棒，把它们用美工刀修干净，先拿出一根小棒，再把两个零件插在小棒中间的空隙中，再拿出另一根，从零件前端插进去，把最后一根也拿出来，从零件后面插进去，最后，把另外两个零件安装在前两个零件的左右，把小棒插进去，再把这些有空隙的地方用101胶水胶好，用美工刀割下来就OK了，另外一个机翼也是如此。
现在要做水平尾翼了。拿到工作台板上，先把五根小棒和两根大棒拆下来，接着，用美工刀修干净，把三根小棒给插到一根后面的大棒的空隙里，再把一根前面的大棒给插到三根小棒里，最后把两根小棒给插到三根小棒的`左右，再把这些有空隙的地方用101胶水胶好，用美工刀割下来，就行了。
接下来是最重要的一步，把支架拿出来，别看它们小，没有了它们，整个模型就泡汤了。拿出其中一个，先用美工刀修一下，再用砂纸把黑黑的地方磨白，不要磨圆，把另外一个也磨白，然后拿出一个固定支架的东西，把支架放进去，用胶水固定，就差不多了，再把两个机翼给用胶水粘在支架上，高的在前，矮的在后，用美工刀把固定支架的东西的两头给削成一个斜坡，就好了。
最后是组装飞机了。把机身拿出来把随便一端削细，目的是减轻飞机的重量，把尾钩塞进去，钩要朝外，再把垂直尾翼用胶水粘上，把水平尾翼也用胶水粘上，机身后面部分就差不多好了。接下来拿出小的圆的橡皮筋，两个，绕个五六圈，穿过机身，大概在中间的位置，调出固定支架的东西的距离，再把支架放上去用橡皮筋扎牢，之前的斜坡就是为了好扎一点。然后把飞机拿出去，老师在给我们的飞机喷“漆”，喷好后的飞机好粘，趁它还没干，得赶快用一种薄纸粘上，粘在机翼和水平尾翼上，等它干了，把纸多余的地方剪掉就好。最后一步，把螺旋桨安装在飞机的“头”上，用长长的橡皮筋打一个节，节外的绳剪个剩两毫米就行，把橡皮筋绕个三下，把一头套在螺旋桨的钩子上，另一头套在尾钩上，再把螺旋桨转几十圈（最多可转一百八十圈），一松手，飞机起飞喽！
