有一天，我正在睡觉，一阵欢呼声把我吵醒了。我一看，原来是小桔灯学校缺一个乒乓球，他们正商量怎么办呢？我自告奋勇地对老师说：“让我来吧。”老师高兴地点头道：“好呀，那太谢谢你了，小乒乓球。”
他们今天举行一场别开生面的\'乒乓球大赛。周媛媛第一个上场。她好像是第一次玩这样奇怪的游戏，她把我一会儿扔到天上，一会掉到地上，我上窜下跳地蹦来蹦去，幸亏我福大命大，才保住了这条小命，只可惜我那漂亮的黄裙子，都变成黑乎乎的泥裙子了。
但是小桔灯有一个小男孩，他叫袁浩，他一直都没有把我摔在地上，每一次被他放在手上或者球拍上，我就感觉好温暖，好像飞在天上和云朵跳舞一样，真想让他把我带回家，做他永远的朋友。
说了这么多，我都累了，今天真是玩得筋疲力尽，拜拜了，明天见呀！

原来，我对乒乓球一点儿也没有兴趣，而在一个白天，我却深深的爱上了这个小东西。那时我才二年级，一天白天，我正在看动画片，爸爸突然走过来对我说：“儿子，世界杯乒乓球赛马上就要开始了，我们赶快一起去看中国队与韩国队的比赛，看谁能猜对‘鹿谁手’。”我不紧不慢的说：“我才不干这种事呢？NO，我要看动画片。”爸爸央求我说：“只看一小会好吗？”我只好勉强地点了点头。
比赛开始了，两个队的队员之间打的很激烈，我在电视机前看的津津有味，我有一点奇怪，这么小的`乒乓球竟然能忽上忽下，忽左忽右，真是奇怪，我就对这乒乓球心升好感，然后我对爸爸说：“请您教我乒乓球吧！”
爸爸一听这话，高兴地说：“这你找对人了，包你满意。”
我刚刚开始的时候，笨手笨脚的，我打不过去，也接不到，奇怪，奇怪！这么小的东西，我竟然能接不住它，气了。
后来，我经过爸爸的耐心指导和我的反复练习，经过一次次的失败，我并没有气馁，一次、两次……最后，我终于成了一位乒乓球“高手”。
我明白了：无论是学习还是什么，都要有信心，不能灰心，只要你认真的去做，有恒心，有毅力，你就一定会成功。
