放假了我和妈妈到了马尔代夫旅游。那的天很蓝，水特别的干净，清澈见底。
我在大海里看见了珊瑚、海草、比目鱼、鲨鱼、蝙蝠鱼，还有些鱼的名字我叫不上来，它们都在水里自由的游来游去，看见了这些鱼我真想亲自给它们喂点吃的。
马尔代夫真的太美了，我下回有机会还会去玩。

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

星期六早上六点我跳下床收拾东西，因为今天我们要去宝鸡市的凤县玩。
下了楼，爸爸去给车加油，妈妈去买早饭，做好准备，大家开着车出发了。
一路上，我在车上又吃又喝，终于到达第一个休息区武功服务区。
在宝鸡吃完饭，大家又一起开始赶路了。
快到目的地，我们把车停在一个叫“消灾寺”的地方休息，我们在消灾寺照照片，扔石头，当我们正在亭子里玩的时候，却突然下起了雨。
雨过天晴，一道彩虹出现在天空，哇！

暑假过半，我们家庭的年度旅游计划又将进行，得知明天就要出发去溧阳南山竹海和天目湖，晚上我兴奋得都睡不着觉了。
早晨，路上非常空，我们上西环高架后直奔沪宁高速，因为车上有导航，所以直接把今天的目的地“南山竹海”输入导航仪后，大家就不再关注路标了，沿途欣赏着美丽的风景，吃着美味的零食，大家有说有笑，好不快活！很快车子就进入溧阳境内，在一个路口虽然有“前方修路”的指示牌，但看到来来往往的车辆，我们便不以为然，继续向前走。直到前面的路越来越窄，几乎只有一辆车子宽度的时候，我们才猛然发现不对劲——我们走错路了。左边山坡，右边杂草，而丛生的杂草下是好几米深的沟壑，再加上道路崎岖不平，只要稍一打滑，我们的车子就有可能翻到山沟里。顿时，我们全都紧张起来，车子里一片寂静，都能听到彼此重重的呼吸声，心中默默祈祷对面千万不要来车。爸爸果断下车指挥，阿姨沉着冷静地握着方向盘，一点一点地将车子朝前挪。说是蜗牛爬，也是不过分的。前进的速度估计是以寸为单位的。转过弯道，上坡，再转弯，下坡，就这样，小心翼翼地行驶了半个小时，我们终于有惊无险地走出了那条小路。看到前面的路平整了好多，再往前，走到柏油大马路上，大人们都松了口气，我和表妹几乎欢呼起来。看来这导航也不是完全可信的啊，电脑始终比不过人脑。
前面一大片竹林郁郁葱葱地呈现在我们眼前，茂密的竹竿遮挡住大半片天空，大自然独有的清新气息扑面而来。南山竹海，我们历经千辛万苦终于到了！

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
