As is often read in the newspaper reports, wild life especially the rare species is threatened with extinction. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for a big profit., which, of course, results in a sharp decrease in the number of animals. So it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them. First of all, it‘s quite necessary for every citizen to realize the importance of animal protection. Only by knowing its importance can people develop a sense of responsibility. People will surely take it for granted to have the duty to prevent any killing of wild animals. So a national publicity campaign should be launched, thus giving animals a good living environment. In addition, the government should pass some laws to forbid any hunting of rare animals. We don‘t expect anything harmful to wild life to happen again.
If everyone is involved in the protection of wild life, we‘re sure man will be a good friend of animals rather than their enemy.

Now I want to tell you something about wild animals。There are a lot of wild animals living on the same earth with us。They are our friends and neighbors。However，some of them are dying out everyday because of the damages we humans have been doing to the environment。And the situation is still going worse and worse。For one thing，someone killed the tigers and sold their skins to make money。They must be punished。I think we should all be responsible for that and realize that it is our everyone's duty to protect the wild animals。They have their right to live just as our human beings。We should treat them with love and care，respect the law of nature and share the same land with them!Let try our best to make a happy home for human beings and animals。

走过十年春秋，
我们迎来了海联路小学开办十周年的吉日。
十年来，多少海小学子在老师的努力下获得优异的成绩，踏进了一所所优质学校。
十年来，多少海小学子在老师的汗水里，书写出一张张奖状，一座座奖杯。
每天，我们在学校里在朗朗书声中学习知识，在老师的嘱咐下做好每天的功课，在一声声“老师再见”中踏出校门。
每天，老师们在一串串急促的脚步声中走进课室，在一只只高举的小手中穿梭来去，在昏暗的灯光下一挥舞着红笔，批改着一本本作业。
年复一年，老师们挥挥手送走了一批批六年级学生，又招招手迎来了一批批一年级学生，不停变换的是作业本上的名字和座位上的面孔，不变的 却是老师的爱子之心，和辛勤挥洒的汗水!

一阵轻风的爱抚，阳光似一条粉红的绒毯从天边铺到有点褪色的校道上，循着校道翩翩走去，心情如殷红草莓般一路张结、一派天真。还记得三年前，刚到这个学校的时候，随着东湖的一路风光，心情也渐渐晴朗起来。初进校门，满眼都是惊奇。跟所有对大学怀着憧憬的的学生一样，我对大学生活也满怀期待，而学校第一眼的印象便没有让我失望，到处溢满着青春活力。我知道这是一所年青的学校，但是到了这里亲眼见到我才感叹，短短七年，却有如此蓬勃的生命力，就在那一刻起，我便对学校的未来充满希望。
后来经过详细的了解，我对学校有了更深的认识。我校于2002年经湖北省人民政府批准成立，2004年经国家教育部核准备案。属本科层次的独立学院，具有独立法人资格。建成包括教学楼、运动场、图书馆、体育馆、实验楼、各类实验室、标准学生公寓、教工宿舍、食堂、超市等完备的教学生活设施，建筑面积近40万平方米。学院还建有千兆校园宽带网络、广播电台、英语教学专用无线广播台等。学校还在不断尽力为学生和教职工提供舒适和谐的校园环境，这是每一个城院人都看在眼里，感动于心的。虽然我知道，我们学校和一些著名大学比起来还有一定的差距，但是我深信，名校拥有的是过去，只要我们努力，我们拥有的是美好的将来
2012年夏，我即将步入大四，在最后的一年中，在即将毕业的伤感中，我们迎来了十周年校庆。十年，对于历史长河来说或许只有一瞬，而对于一个学校来说是其发展的基石。十年，城院从无到有，从小到大。十年大事，历不胜数，有校史记载，师生相传，着实不需要我来冗笔。然而，这三年的学习和生活，却足以让我感受她的文化，她的内涵，她的魅力。
记得大一军训，在骄阳与烈日里，我们抱怨着学校的安排与教官的`严苛，但是后来想来，我们明白了学校的希冀与用心良苦。上课之后，我们发现，学院十分注重师资，管理层和骨干教师主要由武汉科技大学选派。还聘请了300余名来自武汉大学、华中科技大学、武汉理工大学等重点高校的兼职教师，以及来自美国、英国、澳大利亚、日本等国的17名专职外籍教师。我们在教学环境上有着和其他学校同样的标准，老师的水平学校也尽力安排最好的，那我们有什么理由比别校的学生差呢?
三年来，学校一点一滴的变化我们都看在眼里。新的实训楼、行政楼拔地而起，配备了完备的教学设施，学校的绿化明显加强，原来的人工湖变的焕然一新，清澈见底，后街环境的改善，还有班级管理更加科学，学校更加注重教学质量等等等等，不禁让我对学弟学妹们充满羡慕。
十年来，我们的学校在教育观念、教育体制、教育模式变革的道路上孜孜求索，走出一条民办教育的成功之路。获得的荣誉数不胜数：学院在独立院校评审中呗评为最高等级——优秀等级，多次荣获国家及省级优胜单位称号。还在07年在全国高校中首设“大学生德育奖学金”，这一创举受到中央领导同志肯定。还获评全国独立学院“毕业生最具创新能力院校”。并在2010年在全国独立学院中排名第10名。
回顾这十年，是充满荣耀与探索的十年，是艰辛与充实的一年，更是打下坚实基础的一年。在学院领导和两院学子的共同努力下，学校以累累硕果迎来了十岁生日。这当然不是该满足该庆祝的时刻，只是稍稍歇歇脚，便要踏上未来的旅程。
即将毕业的我们会铭记，我们永远是城院人，在这个和三年前一样火热的夏天，我们向学院送上最真诚的祝福，祝学院更加美好，再创辉煌。

长征是一部厚重的史书，更是一部耐人寻味的经典。这是人类史上一个伟大的壮举!
翻开厚重的史书，踏寻红色足迹，书写红色的理想、信仰：
长征苦，最苦的是翻雪山，今天人们也把登山当成体验长征精神的重要方式。然而，80年前红色大军的雪山之行，却无疑是人类历史上最悲壮的行军。
1935年6月中旬，红三军团翻越夹金山，一座主峰海拔4950多米的大雪山。这里山岭逶迤，终年积雪，空气稀薄，被称为“连鸟儿也难飞过”的神山。年仅19岁的谢振华与战士们一起艰难地一步一步往上走。夜越来越深，雪越来越大，战士们个个都变成雪人，整个队形好似一条银蛇!艰苦已经到了人的生理承受极限，是后人难以想象的!在这个时候，谢振华鼓舞大家说：“为了受苦受难的老百姓，为了能让他们翻身解放，为民打天下!一个人，一个军队，一个国家，任何时候都要有信仰，有理想，有精神!如果实在冷得不行，大家就人靠人挤在一起，用体温相互取暖。”
极度疲劳的战士们睡着了，第二天醒来时却发现有的战士已经冻了。雪山的天气像孙猴子的脸说变就变，刚才天气还好好的，万里无云，顷刻间就狂风大作，好多个战友被吹出十几米，直接像炮弹一样飞出去，在冰崖下没了踪影;有的却被陷在冰穴里活活冻饿……谢振华和红军战士们面对山高岭秃，朔风凛冽和冰雪覆盖的高山，用超乎想象的毅力和艰辛终于战胜了雪山!
课后我阅读了著名将军谢振华的战斗故事：四渡赤水，巧夺娄山关，再占遵义城……这些罕见、惊天动地的'人间壮举，谢振华将军都亲身经历过……
谢振华将军和红军战士们视如归、强烈的爱国主义精神已经深深地震撼了我的灵魂!长征精神永存在每个人心
对于我们新的一代来说，就是以长征精神来鼓舞自己，努力学习科学文化知识，在困难面前绝不低头，以祖国的兴衰为己任，为祖国的美好明天而奋斗，让国家更加强盛。

Good morning,everybody.I am very glad to stand here and give you a speech.I'm Ren Wen,from Class 17.Well, the topic I'm going to deal with is ten years later.
I have celebrated my 18th birthday a month before.That means I'm no longer a little kid.It's time for me to think about my future.Mom once told me that I should make the most of my age to get as much knowledge as possible.So ten years later,I'll be probably pursuing my further study.Of course,I'll have enough confidence to get my degree.To tell you the truth,the incentive to study is always my mother's encouragement.I wish that I would never let her dowm.The society will be more competitive.There must be more difficulties during ten years.I really hope that I'll successfully conquer them,for it's a good opportunity to estabish myself.
But that's only a minor point.As you all know,a good life that basically drives me crazy.I like a variety of sports.I'll keep on doing exercise regularly.I shall be an refined woman with long hair.By then,I'll find a man who really knows me at all.We'll live together,talk together and travel together.We'll share the laughter, the pain and even the tears.We are going to build up a world of our own,no quarrel but happiness.And from time to time,I'll pick up my violin and play it with a sweet emotion.I like it that my surroundings are full of music.
Well,that's a rough description of my life.There's ten years to go.Anyway,it's a long way.I don't mind whether these dreams come into reality or not.What I care is the process.Just keep on fighting till the end,and I'll be a success!
