翌日早上6点，罗田安来到公司，主动脱掉西装，换上工作服，带领生产部的同事清洗厕所，清洗工具，清洁环境……和店员一起吆喝广告、招揽生意，亲自去商场、超市推销产品……大家都用狐疑的眼光看着他。罗田安暗暗告诫自己：一定要坚持弯下腰，和同事们平起平坐，以身作则，以德服人。
一年后，克莉丝汀从亏本到盈利，知名度一天比一天高。员工们和罗田安之间有了一种信任，结成一股同心的士气和凝聚力，大家手拉手，心连心，没有怀疑，没有距离，只有一个目标，就是把克莉丝汀做好。不久，罗田安用赚来的钱，从已有去意的几个股东那里买下所有股份，进行了持续的增资，并将自己的家从台湾搬到了上海，将事业的重心和全部精力，转移到这个投资最小的项目上。
2000年，一次偶然的机会，罗田安遇到了时任宜川购物中心总经理的朱秀萍。多年的商场，让罗田安觉得这个人是他事业中的.“孔明”。于是，罗田安放下董事长的身份和男人的尊严，三顾茅庐，挖来朱秀萍担任克莉丝汀总经理。两人8年的亲密合作，终于使克莉丝汀转危为安，步入新的发展轨迹。
在朱秀萍的策划下，与开店同时进行的是工厂的收购和扩建。为了满足连锁店的需求，克莉丝汀先后扩建和收购了6个生产基地，获得一个面积约一万平方米的生产基地。一跃成为《福布斯》提名表扬的知名品牌和企业。
媒体采访时，罗田安屡屡表示，自己最后悔的事，就是当年有了资金和一些社会资源的时候，张狂骄傲，不可一世，让自己迷失了方向。他的人生曾有过遗憾，但他抓住了又一个机会，凭借着小小的蛋糕，缔造出了一个西点王国，再次演绎了人生舞台上的高潮。
