有一次清晨，天才蒙蒙亮，妈妈被一阵“咔咔”的声音吵醒了，这是什么声音呢?妈妈好奇地起床一看，原来是勤劳的外公在用算盘计算呢，只见成山的帐本被算盘一本一本地吃了，又不知道过了多久，清晨“咔咔”的声音变成了“嘀嘀嘀”，原来是外公用起了计算器。
妈妈一边回忆一边在电脑前敲打着她的键盘，我一看乐了，“妈妈，时代在进步呀!现在不是‘咔咔’也不是‘嘀嘀嘀’，而是‘哒哒哒哒’，你看你不是正在用电脑计算着你的报表吗?我一看恍然大悟，果真是这样的，“你这小家伙倒是机灵，你说将来我们的生活是怎样的呢?到时候我们又是用什么来计算呢?”“那还用说吗?一定是越来越先进嘛!”我们说着说着开心地笑了!
