昆明动物园英语作文【一】
被誉为“春城”的昆明，以：海鸥、鲜花、滇池、大观楼等闻名于世，而人们对昆明的海鸥，更是情有独钟。天空中，水面上，处处都是它们轻盈、可爱的身影!
话说到这，大家一定会问：为什么非要来昆明看海鸥呢?大部分海湾、海口，不是都有海鸥吗?怎么不去那些地方呢?这个嘛，不仔细观察是肯定不知道的!其它海湾、港口飞来的几乎全是黄嘴鸥，而昆明的海鸥全是从遥远的西伯利亚飞来过冬的红嘴鸥，而且途经两万五千多千米的路程，更重要的是，它只有西伯利亚有、昆明滇池有，所以人们都不远万里来到昆明喂鸥。
昆明最妙的喂鸥处，当然就是草海大坝了!草海大坝的海鸥真是“千奇百怪”啊!在大坝的上空常常盘旋着一些“俯冲式的轰炸机”，它们在空中伺机捕捉着人们抛过来的鸥粮，只要一有目标，它就会像一支离弦的箭一样，“嗖……”的一声就夺走了食物。有时候它们在空中忍不住时，还会放点“炸药”，如果你不及时闪开，你的头发上、衣服上就会“身负重伤”!
有的海鸥，他们飞累了，也吃饱喝足了，他们就会卧在船上、帆上、或飘在水上。有的把头伸进翅膀里，有的把头伸进肚子下，还有的干脆伸着头趴在木板上，享受着“日光浴”!
还有一些“战斗型”的海鸥，它们不愿静息，在空中盘旋着，时不时地去争夺大块食物，还会来几个“助拳”的，就像拔河一样，打得不可开交。有时他们会不小心失口，食物便“噗通”一声掉入水里，那群小家伙只好眼巴巴地看着自己的美食沉入水底，“悲痛无比”……
看了那么多海鸥!让人觉得最壮观要属“海鸥龙卷风”了，每当海鸥吃食到一个时间段时，小家伙们就会不约而同地绕着圈飞真起来，看!它们多壮观啊!这成千上万只海鸥越飞越快，形成巨大的空中海鸥旋窝!渐渐地，连站在大坝上的人们都感觉到阵阵微风，到最后连它们下面的水面都成了旋窝状!这旋窝越来越庞大，如同一个巨人站在滇池之中旋舞，又好似一根擎天柱伫立天地之间!顶天立地!瞧!它们多么秩序井然啊!老海鸥在下面带动气流，小海鸥在上面加速气流，它们排列整齐，星罗棋布，就好像专门特训过一样……
这些小家伙们装点着我们昆明，昆明因有它们的到来而更加可爱、更加美丽、更加生机勃勃!

When they sleep, they don’t eat any food.Because they wall hibernation. But, when they are thirsty. They come out of the sand. So, we must give water to them to drink.
