今天妈妈买了几串葡萄，我在葡萄藤上发现了一只小蜗牛。哇！这可真是个惊喜呀！
我把蜗牛拿起来仔细观察了一下，这只小蜗牛又软又滑的身体上背了一个重重的硬壳，看上去像个简朴的小房子。它的眼睛和鼻子都长在它那细长的触角上，看起来总觉得怪怪的。好奇的我用手轻轻的触碰它的'小身体，它就会把身体慢慢地缩回壳中，想一个害羞的小姑娘。我把它放进一个宽口瓶里，放了一些叶子和水。就把这个可怜的小家伙当做我的新宠物了。
过了一会儿，我再来看我的新宠物。咦？它怎么不见了？它去哪了？我左找找，又看看，还是没找到。我刚要打开瓶子看时，我才发现它在盖子上倒立着睡大觉呢！我把盖子拧下来晃了晃。瞧！它醒啦！也许它觉得像是“地震”了吧！它探出小脑袋，伸直了触角，开始慢慢移动。似乎在向我炫耀，“哈哈，我的爬行能力强不强？我能在天花板上睡觉，你可以吗？”
如果说蜗牛睡觉时是它静的一面，那它动的时候可让哭笑不得呢。我觉得瓶子太闷了，就把它拿出来放到我书桌上的小碟子里，让它来陪我看书。我沉浸于书的精彩情节里，好久才想起它。当我再想看看它时，它早已无影无踪了。桌面上，地上，我都找了个遍，还是没找到。突然灵机一动想起来，蜗牛爬行时会留下痕迹，于是我顺着小碟子附近的痕迹找。不一会儿就找到了，原来它多到我的计算器上溜达呢！它还真是闲不住呀！

然而脾气暴躁的大象也在自己的家里走来走去，忽然屋里响起一阵“噼里啪啦”的声音，原来大象摇着长长的鼻子把窗户给打破了。
这种日子小动物们再也过不下去了，于是一起去请求猫头鹰和小蜗牛，猫头鹰和小蜗牛答应了大家的请求，猫头鹰载着蜗牛飞上天空……
原来是一片很大的乌云把星星们给挡住了，于是小蜗牛便把触角伸进了乌云里，使劲的擦了擦，有了一点点亮光，这下让它们乐坏了，有了光别的星星就好找了。
最后它们又费了九牛二虎之力终于把所有的星星给擦亮了，这下森林里又有了光，一切又恢复生机，小动物们又能尽情的玩耍了！
