Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free.

小的时候，我就知道人鱼的眼泪会化为珍珠。但是，每当眼泪顺着我的脸颊滑落至掌心时，它却变成了一滩水，一滩没有光泽、没有形状的水。我失望透顶，难道人鱼也会撒谎？！我不再相信童话，童话里的一切都是骗人的！眼泪，又不争气的落了下来。
小的时候，我确实很软弱。做事不顺时，眼泪流出来；老师批评时，眼泪还是流出来。慢慢的长大了些，忍不住再次翻开那本童话，依然天真的认为眼泪可以化为珍珠，小时候的那种失落感、欺骗感全然消失。目光再次停留在了“人鱼的眼泪”上。我一遍又一遍的品读着，恍惚之中明白了人鱼的.眼泪为什么会化成珍珠。不需要任何材料，只需要你的——坚强。
珍珠，那么闪亮，那么坚硬，必然是经历了许多考验，才会如此让人珍惜。那我的眼泪为何不能化为珍珠呢？因为人鱼的眼泪代表着坚强，她不会轻易的掉眼泪；而我的，却代表着软弱。
我多么想拥有人鱼的那份坚强，便在房间里摆上一颗大大的珍珠——大大的坚强！注视着这颗珍珠，我想教会我坚强的也许不是人鱼，而是珍珠，珍珠让我学会了坚强！
我变得不再那么软弱，不会像以前那样让眼泪肆无忌惮地跑出来，我真的坚强了！我已经记不得现在的我到底哭过多少次，甚至有没有哭过。这些都不重要，我要坚强，一定要坚强！
眼泪不代表着坚强，但也并不代表着软弱。
眼泪，代表什么？
