真诚像双美丽的翅膀飞进你的心，飞进我的心，让心与心沟通，让你我的心接触，感受到朋友之间的爱。记得有一次。我与我每天形影不离的朋友小乐正在聊天，我不知为什么我的一句话便让她不开心，便不再与我说话，像两个陌生人一样。
一次，我的语文书忘记带了，她是我的后桌，我回头和她一起看，她却看了我一眼说：“你没有带语文书，为什么不和别人看，偏偏和我一起看？我不想看见你，你去和别人看吧。”便转身离开。
回到家，我把这件事一五一十的和妈妈说了一遍，妈妈耐心的听完后说：“那是你的错，因为你说了让她伤心的话，那她当然不开心，你应该去和她道歉认错，并且改掉错误。”我听见妈妈让我去和她认错，我便胆小起来，不敢和她道歉，妈妈说：“不认错就会失去一个好朋友，你说失去一个好朋友好吗？”我想了想说：“当然不好，妈妈我决定了，我要主动去向她道歉。”妈妈高兴的鼓鼓掌给我加油，但我是有的说大话了，我的心还是有的害怕，我害怕没面子，我在睡觉前，我的内心挣扎了下，想了想：爱面子就会失去一个朋友；不要面子就会等到一个朋友。我最后想了想，决定：宁可不要面子也不要失去一个能上刀山下火海的和好朋友。便决定第二天一早到学校去和她承认错误。
第二天早上，我吃完早晨高高兴兴地去上学，我到了学校，看见了她，我把他拉到操场上大声地和他说了一声：“小乐，对不起，请原谅我好么？”她看了看我说：“我也不对，我也该和你说对不起，不应该先让你说对不起，原谅我好么？”我们互相点点头，都微笑起来。说完我们又和好如初，形影不离。
道歉其实很简单，如果你为了虚无的“面子”而失去一个实实在在的朋友，那你可就后悔莫及了。让我明白了“面子”其实不重要，重要的是朋友间的爱。

i am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, december sooner, but when i have told you the reason, i trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. when your letter arrived, i was just in hong kong. as my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when i took it up. now the first thing i have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
i enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. i shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when i see you next.
