森林除了自身的经济价值外还具有多种作用。森林是自然的保护伞，在茂密的森林中成长着许许多多奇花异草、活动着各种各样的珍禽异兽，繁茂的枝叶截留降雨，减弱水流对土壤的冲刷;森林是庞大的氧气制造厂，每公顷阔叶林每天释放730公斤氧气，供近千人一天的呼吸;森林是良好的吸尘器，每公顷森林平均每年能吸粉尘50—80吨;森林是绿色的隔音墙，枝叶茂密的树冠，对噪声有很强的吸收和消减作用;森林还是自然界的保健医生，每一片树叶就是一个滤毒器。森林无时不在造福于人类，保护森林就是保护人类自己。
“火”是我们生活中不可缺少的，它能给我们带来温暖，希望和幸福，但也存在着危险，它是森林的天敌，每年冬春之际，都是森林火灾的多发季节，森林资源受到破坏，经济损失严重。20xx年3月6日，城阳区三标山发生森林火灾，造成了重大的经济和生态损失，事后犯罪嫌疑人梁某投案自首，经查实系梁某在山上抽烟乱扔烟头引起。20xx年11月12日，城阳区人民法院公开审理此案，法院依据法律规定判处梁某有期徒刑5年。梁某供述由于在日常生活中对森林防火意识淡漠，终酿成今天的惨剧，追悔莫及。近期,我国不少地区相继发生多起森林火灾，我们应当引以为戒，森林防火不能有一丝懈怠。
一片森林的形成往往需要几十年甚至上百年，毁树容易种树难。因此，做好森林防火工作迫在眉睫。为了保护我们来之不易的经济成果，为了保护我们的生存环境，为了建设我们绿色的家园，让我们行动起来——森林防火，人人有责!
各位家长，为了我们赖以生存的家园，我们坚持做到：
一、坚持“预防为主，积极消灭”的森林防火工作方针。
二、认真学习林业法律法规和森林防火知识，把森林防火知识列入学习计划，掌握火灾特点，知道如何避灾
三、积极协助林业主管部门做好森林防火宣传，当好防火义务宣传员。
四、树立文明用火意识，要做到不携带易燃易爆物，不携带火种进山游玩，不从事野炊、烧烤、拉荒、上坟烧纸、燃放烟花等野外用火活动。
五、当发现火灾时，要及时报警，并看清路线和风向，迅速有序的离开现场，以免误入火焰区造成伤害。
六、告诉孩子，根据《未成年人保护法》、《森林防火条例》有关规定，未成年人禁止扑救森林火灾，发生森林火灾后未成年人禁止进入火场。
