那是几年前的一个星期六的下午，我和妈妈正在家里玩游戏，爸爸在坐诊。这时，妈妈的手机响了，妈妈把手机打开，刚刚放在耳边，只听“哐当”一声，手机掉在了地上，接着妈妈摇摇欲坠地瘫了下来。我忙拾起手机，“妈妈，你怎么了，连手机都那不好”我一边抱怨，一边听手机，这时手机那头传来舅舅的哭泣声“陈铖，告诉你爸爸，外公出车祸去世了。”我一听，脑袋“嗡”的一声，立即一片空白，眼泪禁不住流了下来。
很快我们一家三口赶到了外婆家。客厅里放着外公的黑白照片，前面点着几柱香，外公则躺在那儿一动不动，双眼经闭，脸色苍白，嘴角和耳道有一丝迹。这时的家里哭声一片，妈妈抱着外公大声的哭，使劲地摇。可无论怎样喊，怎样摇，外公仍安静地躺在那里。以前我受伤，流从没有“哼哼”过，可此时此景，我一点也仍不住，嚎啕大哭起来。
