当时爸爸告诉我遗失这个皮夹的人， 心里一定很着急，便载着我将这个皮夹送去附近的警察局。警察先生叫我们留下个人及住家资料之后，我们便继续买冰的行程。等我们回到家时，妈妈告诉我们说，刚刚有一个年青人来我们家，说感谢我们捡到了他的皮夹，并随手带了一盒礼盒以表谢意。这个年青人离开时留下了一句话让我至今仍印象深刻。这句话就是「好心一定有好报」。
事后爸爸告诉我，不贪心是做人最基本的态度。看到别人遗失的财物不可占为已有，应该想到遗失的人一定会很担心，若换成是自己遗失物品一定也会很担心吧 !
这件事情给了我很大的启示，将来不管遇到什么有利益的\'事情，一定要想到不可有贪心的念头。并且要将心比心，把别人在意的事情，看作是自己在意的事情。时时站在别人的立场来看事情，这样才能得到别人的尊敬与肯定。就像当时那个遗失皮夹的年青人所说的──「好心一定有好报」，我发觉我们的家一直都很和乐，爸爸的工作也越来越顺利。由此可见，做人一定要正直，不可有任何贪念，老天爷也会帮你的忙。
