??化古城添新晖的高中说明文风和日丽，我漫步在素有文化古城之称的湛江街头，呈现在眼前的是悄然崛起的一座令人瞩目的新城。
湛江，昔日是历代贬官流之地，十贤祠内留下了贤士们的事迹和灿烂的中原文化。他们为湛江的文化发展扩下了牢固的基础，使湛江的变化不断发展，延伸。现在的湛江乃是我国著名的历史名地，文物古迹众多，风景秀丽。
湖光岩是古城有名的风景区之一，湖面波平如镜，湖水清澈见底。垂柳在微风中吹拂下轻轻地摆动，像一群身穿绿衣，婀娜多姿的'少女在翩翩起舞。迎着习习的凉风，散步在通幽的曲径中;顿觉得心旷神怡，乐趣无穷，令人流连忘返，从而更加领略了湛江人民灵巧的双手建筑，显现了无比的雄伟壮观。登临古城到高点远眺;湛江市的风景尽收眼底。古城雄伟壮丽;再现古城历史风貌。环绕四周的新修城墙，逶迤而去，点缀着南桥公园的美景。迂回曲折，高低错落有致的园林式组合建筑。座落在绿树丛中，显得幽雅别致。
