夏天，充满了炎热的时候，它常常让人热得头晕目眩。很多老人经不住寒冷的严冬，可炎热更令人讨厌至极。
吃着可口的冰棍是夏天最好的事不过了。开心的我独自走在大街上，在到一条小巷里，轻风抚摸我的脸庞，可在炎夏，轻风也成了热浪，我抬头向小巷深处望望，一堆人在那围成了圈，好奇的走上前看看。边走边想，是有什么好玩的东西，还是有精彩的表演……
我穿过拥挤的人群，踮起脚来向里面张望。一位白发苍苍的老人躺在地上，不明情况的我向他人询问，原来是这位老人中暑了。我又想了想，为什么大家只是看看却不扶起老人呢？当我正要询问时，一位叔叔走了过来，对我说：“小孩，千万别扶，小心这老人醒来之后说是你推倒的，这小苍又没监控，到时跳进黄河也洗不清了。”听了这话，我心顿时如刀割般痛，可我也不好怎样去帮助老人。看着天上红彤彤的太阳火冒三丈，看着翠绿的大树对这群无心的人类绿了脸。当我想上去帮助老人时，又怕那叔叔的预言成真。我的内心挣扎的决择着，我又低头看了看这白发苍苍的老人，他的脸上出现着痛苦的表情，仿佛在说：“当我需要帮助时，你们却这样对我。”他的.手放在地上，又仿佛在说：“大地能给我凉爽，而你们却给不了我帮助。我下定了决心，二话不说走上前去背起这位骨瘦如柴的老人跑到离这最近的医院。几个小时后，人群中只剩我陪伴老人；老人醒了，他的笑容，给了我巨大的快乐，老人的问好，给了我巨大的动力……
快乐，不仅仅只能在玩耍中获得。而帮助他人是快乐的源泉；而帮助也不是对他人的问候，不是给他人物质这些虚假的善意，更不是观看，而是伸出援助之手，尽自己的努力给他人最大的帮助。
