万里无云，天朗气清，我和其余四人在湖上泛舟，感受着大自然的生机，让大自然洗濯我们的心灵。
我坐在船尾的左侧，右手拿着一把蒲葵扇，左手抚着茶炉，茶炉上放着水壶，水正烧着，我怡然自得地摇着蒲葵扇，微微的清风迎面扑来，像进了世外桃源似的，那样地悠扬自在、无拘无束。我平静地正视着茶炉，听着那烧开的茶水的呼噜声，湖边的树木被风吹得“飒飒”作响，犹如一支优美的乐章;坐在我右侧的那个人，正仰视天空，右手攀着右指，右手倚着一条横木，摆着一副悠闲自在的模样，“你看，那蔚蓝的天空与清澈的湖水相接在一起。”他指着远方说道;流水在我们身旁缓缓流过，舟子随波向前漂福而船头坐着三个人，中间那戴着高高的帽子，两腮长满胡须的是东坡兄，佛印坐在右边，鲁直兄坐在左边，东坡兄和鲁直兄正一起读着一幅书画卷子，原来这是东坡写的一首诗，东坡右手拿着书画卷子的开端，左手轻抚着鲁直兄的后背说：“看这一首诗，是我刚才诗兴大发所写的，您认为怎样?卤直兄，请指教指教!”鲁直兄左手拿着书画卷子的末尾，右手指着卷，感叹地说道：“啊!果然是气势磅礴，下笔如神呀，好!真是好诗!”这时东坡露出了右膝，鲁直露出了左膝，互相靠着，从衣褶上可以看出那相并的两膝;而佛印就坐在东坡的右边，他极像弥勒佛，袒胸露乳，抬头仰视，神情与东坡、鲁直不相类似，横放着右膝，屈着右臂支撑着船，竖起了作膝，坐臂挂着佛珠倚着左膝，而且佛珠可以清清楚楚地数出来，嘴唇微微颤动，像念经似的，有一种佛家憎人的气质。
就这样，我们在悠闲的环境中轻松地游湖。
在赤壁上泛舟，在船首坐着，与鲁直一起欣赏一幅手卷，左手亲切地搭在鲁直的背上，右手拿着手卷的首段;鲁直左手那着手卷末端，一边用右手指着手卷，一边向我说话。而坐在我右边的佛印大师很像弥勒佛祖，袒开胸襟，昂首挺胸，神情与我俩不同。他横放着左腿，而右推则竖了起来，左手扶着船，右手挂着一串念珠。

春天， 万物复苏，小河水哗哗地顺流而下； 活泼机灵的小鸟们在枝头喳喳地纵情歌唱； 小草们神不知鬼不觉地从地下探出了脑袋，大地换上了绿色的新衣； 小野花们争先恐后地展示着自己的美丽； 一棵棵大树好像正在返老还童， 抽出嫩黄色的新芽；。年迈的`凤凰木也紧跟着春天的步伐， 吐出米粒大小的嫩叶， 就像刚出生的婴儿那般娇嫩。
夏天，太阳像一个火炉似地炙烤着地面。凤凰木的叶子早已变成了深绿色，枝条也向四周扩展了许多，变成了一把绿色的大伞。当太阳透过茂密的树叶筛下一束束金光时， 美丽的凤凰花绽开了一张张笑脸，好像给凤凰木披上了红色的霞衣。
秋天，凤凰树的叶子慢慢地变成了金黄色，在微风吹拂下纷纷飘落下来， 给地面铺上了一层厚厚的金色地毯。课间十分钟，我和小伙伴们在凤凰树下尽情地玩耍、嬉闹，甭提有多高兴了。
冬天，刺骨的寒风从耳边呼呼地刮过，古老的凤凰木褪去了繁华，仿佛一个弯着腰、知识渊博的老学者，正在讲述着她一百多年来的沧桑岁月， 并勉励我们克服各种困难、勤奋学习，成为对国家有贡献的人才。
这就是我们百年老校的百年古树---凤凰木。

In my life I have met a great many people who are really worth recalling. But perhaps the most unforgettable person I ever know is my English teacher.
What frequently brings back memories of my school teacher is his special qualities. First and foremost, he gave us the greatest gift a teacher can offeran awakening of a passion for learning. He not only led us to an appreciation of the beauty and perfection of English language and literature, but also aroused our great interest in exploring something deeper in this field. Furthermore, I was attracted by his lively wit. I remember that we students always anticipated his class with great eagerness because his lecture were humorously delivered, never failing to provoke chuckles or loud laughs.

Dear all,
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to my parents for teaching me to be positive and to be strong. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” is the opinion held by Aristotle. It is the experience of our forefathers, however, it is correct even today, including my parenting.
It is widely acknowledged that parenting, which can also be explained as family education, is of great significance in our character forming and manner acquiring. To be more detailed, setting good examples instead of just giving precepts is the greatest achievement of my parents. They not only taught me to think for the best and prepare for the worst; they taught me how. They not only told me the benefits of being strong in mind; they proved it. All those things require huge amount of time and work, but it’s worth it.
Without my parents’ contribution and education, I would never be who I am now. But most importantly, I would never be more gratitude to them than today.
