On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

我去过的地方有很多，给我印象最深的，要数首都北京了。
那是2006年的事了，我和妈妈一起去北京旅游。
我们先到了天安门广场，宽阔的广场上有一条用石头铺成的“龙脉”。从广场一角看，高高矗立的人民英雄纪念碑，活像一把利剑，插在“龙脉”上。传说，那龙脉原来是一条恶龙，经常兴风作浪，给百姓们带来灾难，英雄们决定治一治这条恶龙，于是他们齐心协力把恶龙打倒了。为了不再让这条恶龙起来继续作恶，英雄们便造了一把硕大无比的利剑，插在龙身上。这真是一个美丽的传说！
看完天安门广场，该参观故宫了，城墙的每一角，都有一个角楼。第一道门是午门，门后的那一组桥叫金水桥，据说只有皇帝才可以走中间的那座桥，我和妈妈走的就是中间的桥，嘿嘿！
金水桥过后是太和门，两边是分别是贞度门和昭德门。再往后，可就是“公安局”了——太和殿，皇上就在那里办案呢。
后面是中和殿、保和殿、前清门……我想这应该是皇上休息的地方吧。
最后从顺贞门到神武门就可以出去啦！
北京真美啊，真希望明年再来一次！

我以前在书上看到过北京的图片，今天是第一次看到真实的北京，一进北京市，映入眼帘的是整洁、宽敞的街道，现代化的高楼大厦沿街排列，立交桥四通八达。好一个繁荣而现代化的首都。
第二天，一大早，妈妈把我从睡梦中叫醒。我匆忙穿好衣服，一起坐地铁去天安门广场。天还没亮，广场上就已经人山人海，广场的北边是庄严巍峨的天安门城楼，西边是高达神圣的人民大会堂，南边是肃穆的的纪念堂，东边刚刚落成的国家博物馆，随着响亮的口号，高大英俊的仪仗队队员迈着整齐的步伐，护卫着国旗，来到旗杆下。随着庄严地国歌声，国旗缓缓上升，大家注视着国旗的升起。我也激动的行起少先队队礼。我仰望天空，从右边飞来的白色的.和平鸽从天空飞过。升旗结束了，可我的心情久久不能平静。妈妈还带我参观了博物馆、王府井天街购物……
北京之行结束了，我感触很深，我们首都北京是一个现代化的都市，那里有记载灿烂历史文化的博物馆，繁荣发达的商业街，更有凝聚我们爱国之情的升旗仪式！

上个月我去北京看望我的一个朋友，因为我们有将近两年没见，而我刚好有假期。这是我第一次游览北京，这座全中国人都向往的城市。我对北京的.所以认知都来自电视和书本，而现在我有机会亲自来看这个城市、来了解她。我多么地兴奋！
There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.
在我的旅游计划表上，我罗列许多要去的地方，如天安门广场，紫禁城，长城，北京大学等等。然而由于假期太短，朋友只陪我参观了计划表上的几个地方而已。如果有机会，我下次一定会到这来个长期旅游。
