在洋溢着过年气氛的寒假里，我来到了广东东莞虎门威远炮台。虎门威远炮台是广东水师提督关天培为加强中路海防力量所建，是虎门海口防务的主要阵地，它也就是yp战争古战场遗址之一，是中国保留得最完整、最有规模的古炮台之一。
在炮台旁的博物馆里，我看到了当年虎门硝烟的历史故事，林则徐的勤于职守，循法秉公;英勇奋战的关天培，还有各种与英军在作战时所用的兵器。在这一切历史的背后，我看到了当年清朝各种贪财的.大臣们到英国zsyp导致对人民的危害，也看到了忠心为国的人为国家的贡献所做的努力。
在博物馆，我还了解到了毒品对人体的危害，看着陈列馆里一张张吸毒者的照片，我不禁到吸了一口冷气，如果没有了林则徐和爱国人士的管理，yp不知会影响到中国多少代的人。
来到炮台，我被它保存的如此之完好给震惊了，用灰、沙、黄泥做成的炮台任显示着当年的生机，大炮在几年时光的冲刷下，气势任不减弱。抚摸着炮台的墙砖，我闭上眼仿佛可以看到反英寇战士们的努力;靠在一门门大炮上，我仿佛听见了战士们激烈的怒吼。在英军的打击下，我们祖国的一部分——香港被无奈割给了英国，而也就是这虎门硝烟才给了我们敲响了警钟，拉开了近代史的序幕。
在这次游虎门炮台中，我深深感受到了历史文化对中华人民的重要性，也就是这次一游，让我知道，中国的文化是需要一代代儿女们理解、继承下去的!传承，会让我们的中国，添上一分更加鲜艳的色彩!
