雷锋叔叔有着和我们现在截然不同的童年生活，遭遇了种种的不幸。雷锋幼年时妈妈被吊，弟弟被活活饿，哥哥被累，爸爸被残忍地绞，全家只剩下雷锋一人艰难度日。他遇到过关心、同情他的人，也遇到过欺负他的人，但他始终坚定一种信念，对生活充满了积极向上的乐观精神，面对再大的困难永不言退，发誓要做一个对社会有用的人，报效祖国。
雷锋以实际行动践行着自己的信念、誓言，他不计得失地帮别人搬砖;看到战友有困难了，偷偷地以战友的名字往战友的家乡寄去20元钱;看到行动不便的老人，主动帮助他们拿东西，送他们回家……。有这样一个镜头：一个星期天，雷锋叔叔的战友王大力把所有战士们的.袜子和衣服都洗了，雷锋叔叔正在晾衣服时，发现自己的旧袜子不见了，他就到处寻找。这时，王大力说：“雷锋，你有那么多存款，还这么舍不得买一双袜子。你瞧，你这双袜子穿在脚上不嫌得难受?”雷锋叔叔说：“只要不耽误我的工作就可以啦!”王大力又说：“那你不觉得难看吗?”“咱们军人不是把袜子穿给别人看的。”这几句话，就已经体现出了雷锋叔叔的节约精神。他每个月只有6元钱奖金，他却把钱存在银行，一年一年过去了，雷锋把省下来的钱全都捐给灾区人民，可是他自己却舍不得买新袜子。雷锋是多么节约啊!

雷锋在一次执行任务中不幸壮烈牺牲了，看到这里，我不禁潸然泪下。雷锋同志虽然永远地离开了我们，但他的重于泰山，虽然他只活了20多岁，但是好事却做了一火车。他并没有，他已经永远地活在了我们每个人的心中，正如雷锋所说过的一句话：人的生命是有限的，但是为人民服务是无限的，我要把有限的生命投入到无限的事业中去我们应该从现在开始，做一名优秀的少先队员，将来好为祖国做巨大的贡献
