出征这天，木兰把自己的头发盘了起来，穿上了男儿装，再望望远处，心中不免有些留念。
与爹娘分手后，木兰没回头望一眼。直至渡过黄河，翻过黑山，才回头，此时早已听不见爹娘的呼唤，也看不到故乡了，战马的嘶鸣却在耳边回荡。
战场十年的厮，对于木兰是那么漫长。战争终于结束了，一切又恢复和平。对立大功的木兰，皇上欲封她为尚书郎。木兰对着皇上说：“木兰不要当什么官，只要还乡见爹娘，请皇上恩准。”皇上说了一句：“朕答应你，让你还乡见爹娘。”
木兰骑着马回到了家乡，只见到爹娘和乡亲们都出来纷纷欢迎木兰还乡。木兰一见爹娘，姐姐仔细打扮一番，木兰的弟弟磨着刀，准备猪羊呢。木兰笑笑，走进了闺房。
脱去战袍，穿上了旧衣裙，拉下头巾，披起了长发，木兰细心梳理着长发，戴上发饰，出去见她的伙伴。伙伴们一个个目瞪口呆[注: 形容因吃惊或害怕而发愣的样子。]，原来木兰是女郎。

吃完团圆饭后，木兰一家人一同出门逛街，木兰一肚子的疑问，便说道：“店铺何时变得如此美丽，人来人往、车水马龙、红灯酒绿，街道上挂满了喜庆的灯笼?”父母亲喜笑颜开地说道：“是为了庆祝你胜利归来而设计的。”
回家后，木兰把所有精美的饰品赠送给同县的人。
木兰打开东屋的阁门，坐在西边的床上，脱掉打仗的袍子，穿上晚日的裙子，对着窗户，看着镜子梳理美丽的.鬓发，贴上漂亮的花黄。出门去看战友，伙伴们惊呆了：一起征战十二年，尽然不知道木兰是个女儿身。

我们大家在学英语的同时。好像忘记了我们的母语。我们这中华民族五千年的悠久历史，老祖宗传下来的文化，魅力好像还抵不过一个“洋鬼子”说的“鬼话”是的，英语的确是国际通用语言。可是这就是我们要冷落我们伟大的母语的\'原因吗？这原因是在不值一提。中文，是世界上能最清楚表达事物的语言，只改变语调，就能变换语义。中国的语言文字叫“汉字”，而英美的语言文字叫“单词”。
这就明显能体现出汉语的意思准确、精练。我本人是回族，但我并不讨厌“汉”语、“汉”话。相反，我却十分崇敬华夏文化，因为我是中国人。
但看现在世态，我们好像不该在打着中华民族的旗子，说我们是龙的传人了。外语肆意横行，把我们老祖宗留给我们的东西，推进了印度洋深处，实在可怕。我最后竭力大喊一句：“我们是中国人！！！”
