保护野生大象英语作文【一】
星期天清晨，我们不顾风雨的磨打，仍乘着大巴车前往诸仙洞野生动物园。
一到门口，映入眼帘的是“诸仙洞野生动物园”八个大字。我们排着整齐的队伍等待其他学员和老师的到来。不一会儿，老师领着我们列队进入，一簇簇，一团团，一排排的菊花呈现在眼前，像步入花的海洋，路旁有一只用形状各异，颜色五彩的菊花拼成的凤凰，形象逼真，栩栩如生。似乎在感叹，秋天来了，一切都变美丽了，菊花来到大自然让它增添风采。远看，菊花像一群羞涩的姑娘跳着欢快的舞蹈，一片片的，壮观极了，红的似火，粉的像霞，白的像雪，风轻悄悄的，草软绵绵的。菊花在秋天绽放着，不像梅花，“宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来”；不像荷花，高高地挺立，在池塘中尤如一位仙人在念诗；菊花有着自己的风采，端庄沉静，洁白无瑕，不管经过风吹雨打，狂风大作，仍傲然地挺立着。
再往前走十小步，看看周围全是群山环绕，怪石成群，一棵棵竹子高高地挺立着，竹叶紧簇在一团，仿佛想从别人怀里享受一点温暖，看不出任何缝隙，当细雨再次莅临人间，竹子的颜色就变得更深一些，叶面的雨水顺着竹叶了到土地里，营养也到了肚子里。
顺着小路，走到前头铁栏旁，一只只老虎对着我们疯狂大叫，后来了解到这是东北虎，是捕食猫料动物，喜欢在夜间活动，喜欢游泳。我们不去袭击它，自然也不会侵犯我们。东北虎头大而圆，耳朵短而伶俐，背大部分是黄色的，腹部是白色的，有几条黑色条纹，头上大大的写了一个“王”字。领略了东北虎的威武，我们绕过一段弯曲柏油路，看到一个不小的山坡，上面一个棚子，是羊驼休息的地方，我们抬头仰视，羊驼一直呆在那儿没有任何动静，五会的老师说，羊驼需要我们把它喊下来。于是，同学一边喊着一边手舞足蹈，想用这种方式把他们召唤来，坚持了不一会，竟然起作用了，它们迈着欢快的步子向我们奔来，我们露出会心的笑容，根据老师讲述羊驼是群居动物不能单养，不然会得忧郁症，如果有什么风吹草动，便会聚集在一块，常在草地间活动。
时光流逝，记忆中的这些，样貌常在脑海里浮现。

刚到东山野生动植物园，我便陶醉于眼前这片青山绿水的景色中。郁郁葱葱的三角椰子、长得生机勃勃的可可椰，潺潺的流水，参天古木，如茵绿草，鸟语花香，果然名不虚传。
我们首先参观了国家一级保护动物——“四不像”麋鹿，接着看到了陆地上最高的动物——长颈鹿和陆地上最大的鸟类——鸵鸟。
接下来，我们进入了野兽区的第一区——狮子区，可是那些狮子大多数都在睡觉，真实奇怪。紧接着，我们又来到了老虎区，看到了一只凶猛的老虎，正在美滋滋的吃着一只鸡，还流出了鲜，让我感觉到恶心和恐惧。离开老虎区后，我们又来到黑熊区，我看到了一只黑熊和另一只黑熊进行激烈的“交战”，真是有趣！可是，我左瞧瞧、右瞧瞧，一只黑熊也没看见，黑熊去哪了呢？难道还在冬眠？这时，同学叫我往上看，我抬头一望，树上有一个黑点晃来晃去。我仔细一看，才知道那是黑熊。
离开猛兽区后，我们来到陆地上最大的'动物——大象的住处。一看到大象，许多同学都叫了起来，还有一些同学拿出照相机把他拍了下来。
紧接着，我们又参观了矮马、老虎、梅花鹿、海南坡鹿、澳洲鸵鸟、孔雀、珍珠鸡、双峰骆驼、白水牛……但最令我难忘的是狮虎兽“平平”和“安安”。
“平平”和“安安”可能算是东山野生动植物园最耀眼的明星了，因为它们是目前打破中国狮虎兽生存时间最长的一对。从2005年5月2日出生，至今已经存活355天了。我看到它们时，就鼓励它们：一定要活过1000天，打破吉尼斯世界纪录，为中国争光！
11时许，我们依依不舍地离开了东山野生动植物园。
回到家，我发出感慨：我看到的大多数动物都是濒临灭绝的种类了，可为什么我们人类还在捕它们呢？我们应该呼吁那些残忍的屠者，放下手中的枪，一起来保护这些动物吧！
