不久，又有一个人对他说：为什么要加在此呢?你不在这里卖，还会去哪儿卖呢?他也觉得有道理，又把在此涂掉了。
一会儿，一个老太太过来对他说：销售两个字是多余的，不是卖的，难道会是送的吗?他又把销售擦掉了。
这时来了一个人，对他说：你真是多此一举，大家一看就知道是鸡蛋，何必写上鸡蛋两个字呢?
结果，他把所有的字全都涂掉了，他所卖的鸡蛋，也不如以前的多了。
英国戏剧家莎士比亚说：要忠于你自己!忠于自己，人生才能获得真正的自由。
好莱坞一位著名制片人戈德温，他并没有在哈佛或牛津等名牌大学读过书，他所受的教育，只是白天在工厂做工，晚上进夜校所念到的那么一点点。虽然他自己并不是一个研究莎士比亚的学者，可是他常常觉得上面引证的那句话，可能是走向成功的最正确的指路牌。
他在好莱坞待了许多年。见过许多想试一试时髦电影风格的男女明星，想抄袭他人风格的导演，想模仿那些成名剧作家的编剧家，以及许多想放弃自己的风格而学人家的人们，他最终给他们的最基本忠告是：尽量表现你自己!
从心理学角度来说，人的内驱力在心理层面主要是认知力、情感力和意志力。人在这种内趋力的活动中相应产生三种心理需要，即认知需要、情感需要和道德需要。知、意、情是和人外在追求的三种理想境界真、善、美一一对应的，所以人的认知需要、道德需要和情感需要主要表现为人对真、善、美的追求。人生可以平凡地度过，也可以不平凡地生活，每个人都不一样，每个人的标准也不一样，你的成功在人家的眼里也许一文不值，感觉自己成功了就对了。
其实，只要做好自己就够了，刻意模仿别人，往往适得其反。
大家都知道东施效颦的故事。古时候，越国有两个女子，一个长得很美，叫西施，一个长得很丑，叫东施。东施很羡慕西施的`美丽，就时时模仿西施的一举一动。有一天，西施犯了心口疼的病，走在大街上，用手捂住胸口，双眉紧皱。东施一见，以为西施这样很美，于是也学着她的样子在大街上走来走去，可是街上行人见了她的这个样子，吓得东躲西藏，不敢去看她。其实东施的出发点是好的，她是想学好，想变美，但她却忘了什么是美，什么是丑。也不明白什么是表面美，什么是内在美，如何去发掘自身优势展示自身美，做真正的自己。
无独有偶，《庄子秋水》中也有类似的一个故事。燕国寿陵地方有一位少年，这位寿陵少年不愁吃不愁穿，论长相也算得上中等，可他就是缺乏自信，经常无缘无故地感到事事不如人，低人一等衣服是人家的好，饭菜是人家的香，站相坐相也是人家高雅。日久天长，他竟怀疑自己该不该这样走路，越看越觉得自己走路的姿势太笨，太丑了。有一天，他在路上碰到几个人说说笑笑，只听见有人说邯郸人走路的姿势很美。邯郸人走路的姿势究竟怎样美呢?他怎么也想象不出来，这成了他的心病。终于有一天，他瞒着家人，跑到遥远的邯郸学走路去了。一到邯郸，他感到处处新鲜。看到小孩走路，他觉得活泼、优美，学;看见老人走路，他觉得稳重，学;看到妇女走路，他觉得摇曳多姿，学。就这样，不过半月光景，他反倒不知如何迈步了，结果，只好爬着回家了。成语邯郸学步比喻生搬硬套、机械地模仿别人的人，不但学不到别人的长处，反而会把自己的优点和本领也丢掉了。
其实，大多时候我们只要做自己就好，让自己的心自由，让自己的人生在快乐中度过。忠于自己就是忠于成功。

Yesterday, our class had a discussion about whether junior students could ride electric bicycles to go to school. 25 students of our class agreed with it, because they said that it is convenient for them and it could take less time to go to school. They said it is not safe for the junior students to get to school by electric bicycles, for they are too young. They also said in the morning the traffic was very busy and the students couldn't ride electric bicycles quickly. for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?
