读了《优秀母亲教子锦囊》一书之后，在享受该书带给我的快乐的同时，也看到了27位优秀的母亲在教育子女过程中的切身体会和真实事例，从中我深深体会到了：要想成为一个成功的母亲，要想真正把孩子教育好，就要主动学习家庭教育知识，掌握科学教育孩子的方法，努力提高自身素质，用心去感悟孩子、教育孩子，做孩子的知心朋友，与孩子共同成长。
我也是一个母亲，我的儿子今年十岁了，上小学四年级，是班里的班长，是个非常懂事、可爱的小男子汉。用心阅读了这27位优秀母亲的教子经验之后，回想自己教育孩子的点点滴滴，有过欢喜，也有过无奈。如今孩子慢慢长大，我也梳理了自己和孩子共同经历的一些事情，感触最深的还是：赏识教育——多表扬，少批评，会树立孩子的自信心，会帮助孩子形成良好的心态。
为了使表扬产生较好的教育效果，我认为父母在规范孩子行为的过程中，应准确地把握表扬的尺度，也就是说表扬要适度。
一、表扬时爸爸妈妈的感情流露要“浓淡”适度。有些家长望子成龙心切，孩子稍微有点进步就欣喜若狂，赞不绝口，久而久之，必然助长孩子的自满情绪。还有的家长对孩子总是恨铁不成钢，尽管已看到孩子有很大进步，但为了防止孩子骄傲，他们按捺住内心的喜悦，在语言、行动上无任何表示。经常这样，必然会挫伤孩子的进取心。正确的方法是：在表扬孩子时，高度重视感情的作用，尽量做到“浓淡”适度。有时对孩子轻轻的一个微笑，也会起到许多赞美之词难以起到的作用。
二、表扬和批评的反差要“大小”适度。表扬不仅具有激励、导向功能，而且具有批评功能，例如对甲的表扬在某种意义上是对乙的`批评。有的家长为了督促孩子进步，总是过分笼统地夸奖别人家的孩子如何好，时间长了，无疑会使自己孩子丧失信心或产生抵触情绪。
三、表扬的`方式要“实虚”适度。对孩子的评价应该是公正、准确的。但是，表扬作为教育孩子的一种多功能手段，在具体运用中可以有一定的灵活性，即在坚持实事求是的前提下，允许有一点“虚”内容。这里的“虚”主要指的是两个方面：
第一，是对事实的适度夸张。例如，孩子纯粹是因为好玩，挥着扫帚在院中“扫地”。爸爸妈妈明知如此也不必道破，应及时表扬他爱劳动的行为，这种夸张有利无害，因为它既是对孩子正确行为的肯定，又可以让孩子知道，劳动是一种美德。
第二，是对孩子将来的期望。例如，孩子的美术作业并不好，幼儿园每次作画，孩子总有自卑感。爸爸妈妈可以这样说：“你现在还没掌握方法，以后只要按老师要求认真去画，肯定会画得很好！”这种鼓励尽管超越现实，但对孩子来讲是必不可少的，关键是要把握好表扬中“虚实”的程度。为此，在含有虚的内容的表扬中，应该注意三点：一要有利于增进孩子自信心；二要不脱离实际；三要给孩子指明前进的方向。
总之，家庭是孩子的第一课堂，也是终身的学堂。父母是孩子的第一任老师，更是终身的教师。父母在家庭教育中发挥着特殊重要的作用，只有掌握了科学的教育方法，以自身良好的品德修养、行为习惯去影响和带动孩子，为孩子的健康成长营造良好的家庭环境，才能培养出优秀的健康的孩子。
