上个月我去北京看望我的一个朋友，因为我们有将近两年没见，而我刚好有假期。这是我第一次游览北京，这座全中国人都向往的城市。我对北京的.所以认知都来自电视和书本，而现在我有机会亲自来看这个城市、来了解她。我多么地兴奋！

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on. However, due to my short holiday I only visit several places of my list, with my friend’s companion. I will take a long tour to Beijing next time if I have the chance.

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.

We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.

Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

当我双脚踏上北京这片土地时，眼睛立刻变得忙碌起来，因为这里有领略不尽的风景。我曾荡舟于颐和园碧波万顷的昆明湖，于粼粼波光中领悟皇家园林的气宇;我曾在苍郁幽深的柏树林中徜徉，触摸天坛古老的历史;我曾在天安门广场上感受五星红旗随旭日一同升起的豪迈之情;我也曾在落日的余晖中静静体味小胡同变幻的光影。每次游历带给我的回忆都如香醇的美酒，它们非但不会因岁月的流逝而乏味，反而会随同时间的沉淀、阅历的增加而愈发悠远醇美。

北京的诸多风景中，我最爱香山，不仅爱它的红叶，爱它起伏的山峦，更爱笼罩于它周身的寂静。或许在众人眼中，它偏居北京西隅，在众多的风景中算不上耀眼闪亮，但美有时是与寂寞相连的。我去香山时恰值盛夏，红叶自然是无缘相见了，但满山苍翠也惹人喜爱。来到山脚下，便见一泓清凉的泉水奔涌而下，汇入清澈的潭水中，单听那“哗哗”的水声便让人心旷神怡，流连忘返了。绕潭而行，不知不觉间，一条石板铺砌的小路已临脚下。登山过程中的辛苦是有限的，然而快乐是无限的。阳光挑逗着山坡上的`野花，在生机盎然的草地中投下斑驳的树影。阵阵山风吹来，送来清新的空气。侧耳聆听，悠远的钟声隐约入耳。登上香炉峰后，视野顿时开阔无比。远处的楼宇因山中的雾气而时隐时现，颐和园的昆明湖则如一颗碧玉，静静卧在群山之中，山中的桦林传来阵阵涛声。或许美的极致即是如此吧!

除却香山，北京的胡同也是令我神往的地方。从空中俯瞰，是一片层次分明的屋檐和屋脊的灰色海洋。那片最富有传统文化气息的民居所构成的背景，即使在一派繁忙的都市之中，也是那样的安静祥和，从容坦荡。那是北京最深厚最平和的历史积淀，是北京最美的梦。

北京之行结束时，我终于理解，为什么越来越多的人离开安逸与舒适，而远涉千里到一个完全陌生的环境中去游历，去体味。或许只有当自己的双眼真真切切看到所期望的，当自己的脚步穿行于那些或繁华或幽静的街巷，当自己的耳边回响着浓郁的方言时，你的心才会与这座城市所蕴涵的气息相交融，这是一种美妙的心灵体验，这是旅行的魅力所在。对我来说，北京是这种体验的背景，更是主角。在我看来，任何诸如美好、难忘、快乐的词语修饰它时，都显得单调乏味。或许可以说，这次旅行是我生活中最亮丽的一笔，是我记忆中闪烁的浪花。
