炎热的夏天，正是我们放暑假的时候，我可以悠闲地宅在家里，吹着空调，吃着冷饮，看着自己喜爱的电视节目，多么惬意；我可以穿上泳衣，在清澈的游泳池畅游，和好朋友追逐打闹，感受那份独有的清凉，多么舒服；每天早晚，我还可以去荷塘边，观赏那一朵朵亭亭玉立的荷花，闻着荷叶的`清香，令人神清气爽。
在我眼中，夏天是位勤劳的姑娘，用她智慧的双手带给大地勃勃的生机，带给人们无穷的希望。她催促荷花快点儿开放，早日绽放它们美丽的笑脸，让那“接天的莲叶，别样的荷花”将世界装扮得更加清丽。她让树儿快点披上豪华的绿装，让人们在遮天蔽日的树荫下休憩乘凉。她让太阳加快脚步，光芒四射，好给果子们更多的营养，给庄稼拔高的力量。
在我眼中，夏天是位神奇的粉刷匠，她挥挥画笔，世界便变得多姿多彩。她把天空染成了淡蓝色，让洁白的云朵在上面自由地飘荡，随意地变幻；她把大树染成了墨绿色，让鸟儿们有家可归，从而快乐地筑巢，放声地歌唱；她让花儿们竞相争艳，红的、白的、紫的、黄的……让大地变得色彩斑斓；她把丛林里的小溪染成翠绿色，让鱼儿在里面欢快地游动，自由地嬉戏。
在我眼中，夏天又是位优秀的音乐指挥家，她叫来各种各样的鸟儿，叽叽喳喳，唱着婉转的乐曲。又叫来蛐蛐、蝈蝈和知了，随声附和，有的清脆悦耳，有的低沉悠扬，有的缠缠绵绵，它们共同谱写了一曲大自然的赞歌。每到晚上，人们在这美妙的乐曲中进入梦乡。放下一切琐事，放松心情，以更加良好的精神状态，迎接又一个黎明的到来。
我爱夏天的勃勃生机，又爱夏天的多姿多彩。夏天带给人们无尽的遐想、无穷的希望！

又想起小时候，您准时6：30分就起床给我做早餐，我一看您做的是面条汤，就一脸的不高兴。您一看我不高兴了，就立马去给我做小馄饨，这样不懂事的我才笑了起来，您一看我笑了，您那张慈祥的面孔和嘴角都想上翘了起来。
怎么才能让您健康长寿呢？我常常看着漫天的白云和繁星想。怎么才能让您每天都快乐，和别的老人一样，去活动中心唱歌、跳舞呢！怎么才能让您能有大把时间去遛弯，去逛街呢？
您每天的'晨练时间只有短短的一小时，而剩下的时间里您都在做家务，照料我。

我每天都会问您累不累，你总是一句："不累不累，才干了多少的活啊！怎么会累？累的应该是你，每天读那么多的书，还要做家庭作业，马上就期中了，还不抓紧复习，你要是有一科考不好，我的不答应，好了好了，去复习吧啊！"这会是一天中做让我安心的话了。可是，您还以为我不知道吧，您每天看我出了您的房门后，就开始拍腿，揉腰来消除一天的疲劳。您肯定以为我不知道，可是，我虽然不说，但是我已经看在心里了。于是，我就每天窜动爸爸来请一位保姆，爸爸也有这个想法，也多次和您提出，请一个保姆吧！您能不那么累。可是，每一次都被您拒绝了，您说："咱家才几口人啊，还用的着找保姆，还是把钱省下来，买一些生活必须吧。小丫(我明年还要去卉原中学读书，虽然咱成绩好。那也会用到钱呐！还是省省吧！"看到爸爸无力反驳，点了头，你脸上的皱纹也会舒展开一些。
