白露和寒露都是二十四节气中的秋季节气。寒露节气的露水比白露寒冷，通常凝结成霜。每年9月7日到9日是白露节气，每年的10月8日或9日是寒露节气。那么寒露和白露节气有什么区别呢?
白露后，天气转凉，开始出现露水，到了寒露，则露水增多，且气温更低。此时我国有些地区会出现霜冻。谚云：“白露身不露，寒露脚不露。”这句谚语提醒大家：白露节气一过，穿衣服就不能再赤膊露体;寒露节气一过，应注重足部保暖。
“白露”之后气候冷暖多变，特别是一早一晚，更添几分凉意。如果这时候再赤膊露体，穿着短裤，就容易受凉诱发伤风感冒或导致旧病复发。体质虚弱、患有胃病或慢性肺部疾患的人更要做到早晚添衣，睡觉莫贪凉。秋天病菌繁殖活跃，加之气候比较干燥，易造成病毒、细菌等病原微生物的传播，所以，秋季是呼吸道疾病的多发季节。
寒露过后，气候冷暖多变、昼夜温差变化较大，稍不注意，就易着凉伤风，诱发上呼吸道感染。此外，患有慢性胃病的朋友，生活中也应尽量注意保暖，避免因腹部受凉而导致胃病复发或加重。
