远方干旱地区的同胞们：
你们好。
记得有一天，我从电视里看到了你们贫困潦倒的身影。我看着，从心底里感到难过。你们面前的土地裂开了一道道万丈深渊似的口子，稻田里的谷子不断地枯萎，身旁高大挺秀的大树倒下了，原本清澈见底的小溪干涸了，动物都奄奄一息。你们真希望能下一场倾盆大雨吧！让大地的龟裂不复存在，让你们能够喝上一口洁净的水。但太阳仍冷酷无情，将强烈的.太阳光让你们的身上，地照射，就像是一直猛兽正张开盆大口像你们扑来，吞噬着你们的无价之宝——生命。
想到这里，我惭愧万分。而我在刷牙洗脸时，忘记关水龙头了，水一滴一滴的向下流去。还有洗车时，将车子冲干净了就把水管子往旁边一扔，但水从管子里源源不断地流了出来。虽然这些水对于我们来说微不足道，但是这水对于你们来说确实无价之宝。我的眼前仿佛出现了你们拎着水桶，在水龙头边等了很长时间，但仍没有一滴水流出来。
因此，我想通过“手拉手”活动呼吁附近的居民节约用水，向他们提出几点建议：1、在用完水后，请随手关水龙头。2、水可以循环利用，如洗过脸的水可以用来拖地，洗过菜的水可以用来浇花。另外，我准备在小区里开展为你们捐水。首先，在小区里为你们举行一个募捐的活动，集齐足够的钱，在商店里买好水，通过专业的单位向你们捐水，捐出我们的一份心意。
希望你们能通过我们的帮助，感受到中国这个大家庭的温暖，尽管你们一无所有。希望通过这次活动，在我们心中架起一座爱的彩虹桥，希望你们能够早日喝上梦寐以求的洁净的水。
