在一座山上，住着一位善良的小溪姑娘和一位山爷爷。
一天，一只小鸟在森林里飞来飞去。突然遇见了小溪姑娘，说：“你怎么还在这里呢？你的兄弟姐妹，亲朋好友都去了大海里呢！”小溪姑娘听了，急忙收拾行李，准备出发到大海。
小溪姑娘找到了一条去路，就跃了进去。山爷爷见了，急的把身上的石头居民全部召集起来，阻止小溪到大海。
石头居民突然冲到小溪姑娘面前，形成了一堵坚硬的石墙，将小溪拦在了山上。
小溪姑娘大声喊着：“有人吗？谁来帮帮我！”可是并没有人伸出援助之手。但是小溪没有放弃，而是一直在求救。不知道过了多少天，一个工人听见了，就把石头全部搬走。小溪姑娘和工人道谢之后，就继续赶路了。
山爷爷大怒，又给小溪姑娘增加了重重难关。不过小溪姑娘没有低头，而是咬紧牙关，坚持闯过了所有的关卡。
山爷爷眼看着她快要流入大海的那一瞬间，伸出大手挡住了入海口。小溪自言自语地说：“我已经快要到达目的地了。我一定要冲出这里！有了，我可以让兄弟姐妹们帮助我。”
于是，小溪的兄弟姐妹齐心协力，帮助她共同冲破了最后一道防线。
小溪姑娘自由啦，她和兄弟姐妹们一起回到了大海里。山爷爷愁眉苦脸地说：“唉，我还是把她放走了。”
