Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free.
exclaimed： “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any.
repayment of your favour； but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”

When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They each tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it.

没有人知道他的病因是什么，没有人知道该怎么对待他，面对他的只有迷茫无助的前途。
但他没有放弃，凭借着身边人的爱与关怀，他一步一步地走向了成功。直到今天，他可以自豪坚定地跟大家说：“现在就算你用百万元来引诱我，叫我长出手脚，我也不会考虑。”因为他相信，因为上帝没有赐他一个想要的神迹，所以其实是想让他成为别人的神迹。
One step a time·One step a life
在他的演讲过程中，有一句令我深受感动。他“站”在桌子上，从左走到右，一次一步，虽然缓慢但终是会走到终点。One step a time是他的方法，也是支撑着他继续前进的信念。他告诉了我们：一次一步，一步一生。
没有人能够一次就能攀上顶峰，只有不断坚持努力。这看似平凡的道理，却常常被我们这些所谓的正常人所忽略，我们常常会抱怨生活的不公、命运的不济，却没有认真地为着目标再去努力一次。还记得那个挖水井的寓言，农夫一次一次地挖，却从来没有一次是专注在一个洞里持续地挖。农夫走了很多步，但总是还没有走到终点就已停止。
这也让我想起了我自己，以前总觉得这个世界充满着不公平，总是愤世嫉俗。但看到这个片子之后，真的，我发现不公平永远都会存在，我们无力改变他，但可以改变自己，让自己在这些不公平中活得精彩！
