由于家境贫寒，新同学很自卑，加上他性格本来就比较内向，他开学一个月以来，从来都没跟大家说过话，他似乎是一个隐形人，老师上课也未曾叫过他回答问题。那会儿，大家连他叫什么都不知道，也没有人敢去问。 有一天我走进办公室交作业，班主任叫我把“任飞”叫来，我没听说过这个名字，但一猜就知道是那个新同学。 我走到新同学的位置，那时他正趴在桌子上，我说：“任飞，老师教你去一趟。”他“哦”了一声，也没多问。
不久我便发现任飞变了，他变得开朗起来，学校里组织诗朗诵，他第一个报名参加；在课堂上，他积极发言，成了我班的积极分子。更可喜的是，他在期末期中中，都取得了班级前三的好成绩。到期末时评选“三好学生”，他以压倒性的选票毫无悬念的赢得了此次荣誉。
就这样，在四年级时，他站在主席台前，面对全校师生谈自己的学习方法时说道：“我要感谢我的班主任，在我三年级时，我的学习成绩并不好，是他帮助我、关心我，让我一步步地朝最高峰前进！”
后来，他以优异的成绩被一所重点中学免试录取，并且各种费用全免。

在一路上，一家人的欢笑从没断过，坐在车子里，我看到在溪流里有许多又大又坚硬的鹅卵石。过了一段时间后，我们终于到达溪谷，在爸爸停好车后，我忽然有种想要冲到溪流好好大玩特玩一番，但却被妈妈制止了，因为妈妈说：“都还没烤肉，等一下再玩水吧！”
终于在爸爸辛苦下，把烤肉架给搭好了，肚子饿的我急着帮妈妈拿出肉和笋子来烤，在还没把肉烤好时，我和弟弟走到旁边看看可以捡到什么好东西，不过因为旁边都是木碳，我和弟弟便捡一些木碳拿去加火，很快的`，许多肉和笋子都烤好了，我和弟弟便津津有味的吃着肉。吃饱后，我和弟弟像一阵风般跑到溪流玩水；在 双手只脚碰到河水的那一瞬间，我感受到一股无限的清凉，在玩水的时候，我不断和弟弟玩打水仗，爸爸和妈妈也在一旁露出快乐的笑容看着我和弟弟。玩累后，我和弟弟跟爸爸、妈妈便收拾好东西坐车回家了。
回家的途中，我的心里充满了无限的快乐，真希望下次还能来溪谷烤肉，因为真的是太好玩了。
